I was trying to remember any memorable performance from Mohammad Hafeez but really could not find any in my memory.
Afridi was phenomenal in 2009 W-T20. Razzaq once won MOS award in Tri-series in Australia. Gul was #1 T-20 bowler in the world. Misbah scored a century at Lord's, and the list goes on and on for other players.
There is one Pakistani cricketer whose name is Mohammad Hafeez. He has literally done nothing in any important game in any important series/tournament, yet he is undroppable from all formats. Heck, even Inzamam was dropped after 2003 WC who was 10 times the batsman Hafeez will ever be. Despite all that, Hafeez always finds a place in a team.
My question for you: On what basis is Mohammad Hafeez rated so high in Pakistan and when he retires, what legacy will he leave behind?
