Why is Salman Butt being promoted by Lahore Qalandars?

Salman butt has done the crime, paid the price and now deserves his chance as much as anybody else. Time and again we hear how this will inform future fixers that there is a way back after fixing...no. It shows that if you fix you will lose ten years or more of your life’s work. But we live in a humane and just society where once a sentence is served everybody deserves a chance to rebuild their lives and careers.

He’s a rubbish t20 player though. Hate seeing him take the place of an emerging player.

Domestic standards for you - PSL was really needed to expose some of these stats before they play international cricket. There were videos and threads about Sohail Akhtar on how good he is etc and he should be Pakistan opener! he cant even be leagues lowest team opener.

Sohail Akhtar was never an opener, he was just a useful lower-order hitter. LQ have tried to convert him into a top-order batsman, one of their many 'experiments'.
