I am excited but not sure if he has the players around him to help him make a difference?

He will make a difference but he is not a huge step up from Giroud. He is probably just slightly better. Arsenal as everyone knows need a midfield enforcer to be successful.

He and Alexis can be the two "Lethal Alexes", or he could flop. You never know with Arsenal.

With xhaka and ozil behind him yes, but he isn't of the same class as guy like alexis yet.

However I still think he can score 20 plus goals us this season. What we needed was somebody with pace and composure.

Welbeck was almost perfect until the time came to shoot at goal

Lacazette has shown in France he is far greater technical ability and compose as compared to welbeck to go along with his pace and power. The only obvious thing he lacks is height

Has the pace and the technical ability to thrive at Arsenal. We will create enough chances for him, also he is a good penalty box striker. We haven't had a player like that for years.

I think he will do well. He certainly has the players around him to make a difference. Don't understand what MenInG meant by his OP.

Happy that Arsenal have bought the French Defoe :))

rather that than no one

i swear if he was a little bit taller everyone would be going nuts

he suits Arsenals needs the same way a guy like Lukaku suits Mourinho United

and how tall is Sanchez? Doesn't stop him from scoring plenty of goals :)

Good start for him, scored on debut in a friendly. Will definitely give him confidence.

I know but people have this stupid premise that unless you are aguero you need to be tal to be a good striker

It's all crap off course, but my point is that if lacazette was taller there would be a lot more hype like there is with morata

He's listed 175 but looks smaller ?. Hopefully adds that killer finishing instinct lacking forever at Emirates.
