Already has 7 in 41 matches needs 14 to overtake Saeed Anwar, add to that he is only 23..
I personally think he should end up with 30-35 100s.
Now don't bring the useless minow discussion that his 100s vs WI, Sl etc..all our past players played these sides many time but failed to achieve what babar is already doing, some couldn't even get 1 century yet are called saviors

With the way he bats and considering the talent around him, I see all or most of his centuries against top teams like aus, sa, ind, and eng will be in losing cause. He really needs to have that killer power to win or get the team in to winning position rather than thinking all the time about anchoring or reaching the milestones.

He can learn from kohli and work on fitness and take singles and doubles to keep scoreboard ticking.. And work on finding gaps.. You don’t need an amazing power game to be the best as kohli has proven..

Seriously? Did you watch the game or just saw the score on cricinfo. Flattest wicket where opponent scored 350+. While chasing he was playing at 60 strike rate most of the innings with no intent to chase the scores.

Lol what? So hitting sixes means you're a hack? Suggesting that he should improve on a particular aspect of his batting where he's weak doesn't mean we want him to turn into a blind slogger.

Most great batsmen in the modern era are/were complete batsmen, they have the ability to win games in every situation. Sometimes you're faced with a situation where you have to play aggressively to win and Babar clearly lacks that extra gear right now which means he'll struggle every time we have to chase a big total.

If he wants to take his game to the next level, he has to improve his ability to accelerate.

Nobody is calling him smith or kohli or world beater, Atleast not me. Point was atleast try to appreciate a young batsman who is going very good at international level and learning as well . Moreover Harris sohail is not at the level of babar at all , as he has not played much at international level.

If he improves then its not a problem. Babaar has potential , but needs to put himself and aim for higher level and not be satisfied with only being best in Pakistan . He has to aim for something higher , and he has potential to do so. There have been players in Pakistan who have underachieved a lot .

It’s a disgrace that the most centuries any Pakistani batsman has scored is 20 by Saeed Anwar. Just 20? It just goes to show that there has never been any batting culture in Pakistan. Hopefully Babar will change that. If he doesn’t suddenly has a dip in form and maintains the same level of consistency for the next 7-8 years, I can easily see him reach 30+ centuries.
