Will PTI manage to retain KPK province in the next GE?

So recently one of my colleagues had visited his home town of Peshawar. He has generally had a favorable opinion of PTI in KPK, however he is saying that the level of harassment happening in the provincial government and the amount of compliance checks has made some of the people working in government to be afraid to actually procure contracts and material which is actually not at all helping the province progress. He told me already a huge chunk of the money around 100 m PKR has been taken back by the federal government because it was not spent by KPK. Also, some people genuinely do not like Khattak and they say that family/tribe is very biased towards their own.

He said while there are definite improvements in systems regarding police and health there is still no visible development and people are getting restless as they felt more should have been done in this much time.

His take is PTI can potentially lose some seats in KPK but will manage to retain it since there are no other alternatives. If we have people from KPK I would really like to hear from them and PTI's performance in KPK. We see a lot of videos which are pro-PTI but I would really like to know what is the ground reality.

Unless he is corrupt he shouldn't have to worry.

I deal with KP people daily and also travel there regularly almost every second week and to me the situations look much better (not saying perfect) under this PTI govt and also majority of people seems happy with the progress in different sectors and development and to them it looks like a breath of fresh air after the treatment they got under ANP, MMA, PMLN, PPP and other parties govts the difference is pretty clear and they are appreciating it and to me it looks like they will elect PTI again in next elections to run this province although if we go by recent history they don't give a party 2 chances in a row if they fail.

(Although i am from Punjab but this is one of the fact i love about KP people they will throw you out if you fail they don't vote blindly like Sindhis,Punjabis or even Urdu Speaking in Khi/Hyd)

PTI will clean sweep KPK if they succeed in reforming Election Commision and the teachers & judicial officers and police (all taking part in conducting election) remain neutral and corruption free.


JI, JUI F, PPP & PML N will be burried in KPK elections.


They can only lose if opposition buys institutions. Note my words if they do so it will be terrible because PTI has served KPK and people won't digest it at all and there will be anarchy and mess in all of KPK and nobody would be able to form gov in either province or in centre due to instability. And yes 100 % sure democracy will be in danger. So Nawaz & Zardari sahib should be very very careful wrt KPK and don't mess with KPK awaam although Maulana would want them to do it. Nawaz & Zardari sahib would suffer aswell and democracy will be gone. Army would have no choice but to intervene.

I can't see PTI gaining much in Punjab (also depends on the result of Panama case) and IMO they will win only 2/3 seats from Sindh (Karachi only). PTI and PMLN both stayed away from Interior Sindh because Punjab is more important if you want to sit in Islamabad.

I don't see any election reforms happening any time soon. Status quo will make sure nothing like that happens in near future.
