I am just curious what happened to Nasir playing so slow in the 2nd innings that's not his natural game.
 
Another one gone Nasir need to play aggressively now if they want to go somewhere near a 400 lead.
 
Get more than 400 and there's just no chance for Zimbabwe since the wicket is going to deteriorate and will be caught in 2 minds play for the draw and go for the win and that is what will trap them when they bat.
 
lead is 380 . time to declare i think .BD is trailing 0-1 & has to take the initiative.
 
Nasir is just wasting time and singles not able to hit i think its safe for BD to declare now otherwise the chance of draw might increase.
 
While most of the people will be enjoying CSK vs KKR at the moment i am enjoying ZIM vs Bang & Somerset vs Warwickshire :)
 
Now its time to see how our boys perform. There is no way zimbabwe can score 400 runs unless taylor scores a double, but given that they have to score this much on a 5th day pitch its very difficult. Brilliant fightback from BD, we went to 291-9 from 18-3. At one point of time, people felt that we would be allout for less than a hundred
 
So finally declared with a magical number lead of 400. I think Zim will just play their natural game they will not go for a draw. Scoring 401 in 4th innings is a pretty tough job not many have done it but thn who knows they got Sir Taylor Bradman so nothing is impossible :) the highest successful chase on this ground is 192 by Pakistan in 1998.
 
Zimbabwe top order has to be one of the worst. It has always been their middle order batsman that have saved them from trouble: chiggy, waller and taylor.

Not taking anything away from zimbabwe but scoring 401 is impossible. However, they have the temperament to draw the match. A draw is as good as a win, dont forget that they will also have won the series so its not a must to win this match.
 
The way Zim Openers are playing the new ball i don't think they got draw in their mind they want to Win or Lose.
 
positive cricket from zimbos. But I dont think 400 is chasable on such sporty wickets.

A target of 400+ has been chased down only 4 times. But if they can bat for 4.5 sessions, 400 is chasable but will they last that long?

I told you when BD declared i know the mindset of Zim guys they will go for a Win or Lose no Draw even though by losing this match the series will be leveled.
 
Zimbabwe aren't capable of batting 140 overs.

Go for the win, hope to put some pressure on Bangladesh and who knows?

40 overs to go today and if they score about 180 today (with their current RR they can score 180 by the end today) with losing only 1 or 2 wickets i am sure BD will be in pressure situation tomorrow.
 
i think better batting lineups would have struggled to score 400 on the last day but its NOT IMPOSSIBLE.

Robiul is tired and none of the other paceman look threatening. Zimbabwe can score 401 if they bat for 4 sessions

That't why i love test cricket because game changes every session.
 
I am telling you this Sibanda guy is not going to the only way to stop him is to get his wicket.
 
Now even Hamilton started to attack Sabinda SR is nearly 70 and the current RR of ZIM is 4. When a team is scoring at a RR of 4 while chasing 400 in 4th innings after losing 1 wicket it clearly shows how desperate they are to win this match.
 
so far so good for zimbabwe. I think they need to be careful, because when the ball gets older it will be difficult to score runs
 
I really don't like the captaincy of Mushi in Tests he is destroying Robiul trust me if he continue to use him like this i am afraid BD fans will never see this guy face after 6 months.
 
Sibanda gone now Zim is going to try so hard to draw this match.

I think robiul hasnt find it hard to bowl because the temperature is quite cool. I think robiul will be taken of very soon seeing how the spinners are doing well

Yes but this guy already bowled 40 overs (33 in first innings 7 in this) and if Zim shows some resistance thn there are still 120 overs to go

Unfortunately I don't think apart from Sir Ash anyone else has masters degree in English :boycott
 
zimbabwe need about 260 to win, Bangladesh need 6 wickets. I think the game is in our hands given that scoring 260 runs on the 5th day pitch is difficult. One thing for sure, the match will have a result
 
Umpiring in this series especially this test has been the joke of the year thus far...yesterday Rahim and Nasir had to bat in the dark but today the same again happened and these umpires let the Zimbos off. Plus umpires complaining to Rahim about the lbw shouts.

Bangla just 6 wickets away now. Good come back after a dismal show in the last one. How come there's no 3rd Test? Quite ridiculous if you ask me.
 
We have 60 overs to get the last 4 wickets. We should do it, considering that the new ball is around the corner

I hear that he has some discomfort in his leg so is not bowling. Now that there is no way zimbabwe can chase 401, we can attack full on.

What more do we have to prove? We beat WI 3-2 in an ODI series, did well in the Asia Cup and then performed well against Lanka.

Not asking for a series down under, but it would be nice if we could atleast have a series against India or a series against pakistan in UAE. If memory serves me right, Pakistan dont have too much intl cricket these year and could easily host a series against Bangladesh
