Pakistan need to bat first.

I would be tempted to play Faheem at 4 with Asif at 5. Our middle/lower order need some batting in this match.

With the way Pakistan are playing I don't think Zimbabwe are going to get more than 1-2 wickets
 
So how is this possible, Hafeez is on the team sheet( the picture posted here)but not in the playing xi ?

It says he is a substitute fielder. Pakistan has a confusing layout for the team sheet, look at the right column.
 
I’m no fan of the Prof. But no need to insult a guy who has been a servant of Pak cricket for many years. I think his CT final innings was key and he should have been given a shot at playing the finisher role. Yes Asif is there but I think he deserved a chance just on the basis of his past service. He should either be completely dropped from the next series or given a proper run at 5 or 6. There are a lot of other guys who bowl off spin who can warm the bench. Agha Salman and Bilal Asif to name two.

This is not some charity. He should have retired after the CT.
 
Is this the end of Hafeez? Hopefully we will see same for Yasir as well. Nawaz should be next.
 
Zimbabwe has better bowling line up but pitch is more batting friendly. Lets see if we can make 400 runs.

So for Fakhar:

20 for the fastest to 1000 ODI runs
37 to lead the highest amount of runs in a 5 match ODI series
200 for the only to score consecutive double hundreds

does imam tru to take a single of the last bowl on purpose. Have seen him do it multiple times. Luckily Fakhar zaman understands his tactics.
 
A Pakistan vs. Pakistan A series would've been more relevant and entertaining than this borefest

Imam's dot ball % is still too high (around 50%) but the difference this time is he has hit more boundaries. Brings up a 45 ball fifty. Better intent today.

It's his own fault as he always wanted to play as an opener wasn't happy with the 1 down role as well. He could have been a good finisher 5-6 years ago but his recent T20 results compared I don't see him getting into the side as a finisher specially with how the other younger players are playing

I wish Zimbabwe get a wicket soon just to change the boring monotony of the match.

At this point thank God it wasnt a 7 match ODI series.
 
Also at this point I wouldnt be averse to Imam or Fakhar retiring from the bat to let some other people get a good hit out as well.
 
Oh man these Zimbabwe players will be having nightmares about this series for years to come.
 
What a tuk tuk approach!!!! This is why we can never score 400 runs where other team can score even 500.
