Look at FOWs! Azhar 43rd Over Misbah 44th Over

I think its a one ball duck

Pathetic batting performance from the team.

:))) @ Misbah's glorious display of 'tuk-tuk' cricket. 36 balls of genius.

it's good, this performance will only wake them up. akmal must sit out for asad shafiq

hahahahaha.....what a crappy performace....

YK n Azhar once again showing their class

Confirmed Score

Pakistan: 222 all out in the first day of 2-day practice match. younis khan was the top scorer with 71

:farhat:farhat:farhat:farhat:farhat:yk:yk:yk

30 runs 5 overs....all bowled by Junaid....crappyinfo at its best

:))) @ Junaid khan being the only bowler.

He's probably the only one who showed up to field.

Cricinfo disappoints.

Something's wrong...

Azhar ali's wicket fell at 42.6 over that brought Misbah in

Misbah's wicket fell at 43.1 which is basically the next ball.

So how come cricinfo is reporting that Misbah made a 36 ball duck aka Raina like where as all he did was made a 1 ball duck aka sehwag like?

Another mystery of Junaid Khan bowling all 5 overs is also hilarious.

The scorecard is wrong, Junaid Khan bowled all 5 overs :))

WTH Misbah 36 balls for his zero

Pathetic batting yet again. Besides Azhar and YK, everyone failed. Need to get the house in order before the 1st Test.

Look at the number of balls faced by openers, 45 and 23 respectively. That means one other bowler might have bowled four overs, his name is missing there.

He's so fast, they can't see him.

In all seriousness, yeah you are right. It's probably Sohail Khan as he's the only other fast bowler.

The batsman faced 468 balls this must be 78 overs. But they shows only 75 overs.

cricinfo must have assigned a trainee to cover and report on this match. well done young indian :nehra

Another failure for Hafeez. Can see him being dropped for sri lanka/england series if he doesnt perform with bat soon.

I think Zimbabwe is favorite for the only Test looking at this pathetic batting display against a club side.

Misbah beat Azhar Ali's record for the 32 ball duck vs England, Misbah with a 35 ball duck against a Zimbabwe club side.

I swear, what's the excuse? Jet lag? :))

They might have gathered data from the local scorer. CI reporter for this series is Firdose Moonda, she hasn't reached there yet. Read her tweet earlier in the day.

This performance was only in solidarity for the indians. Pakistan will bounce back big time when the real deal starts.

Ask BBC, he still think Misbah is same like Hussey even better lol

The tail looks long without Wahab Riaz, Umar Gul and Tanvir Ahmed. Surely Sohail Tanvir has to play so we can have depth in the batting.

(pre-mature) Eid taufa Indian bhaiyo, just wait when kaptaan Tuk-Tuk actually hits a ball. :misbah

Are you an employee of Cricinfo? SID_Zone? Are you Siddarth Monga?

pakistan badly needs wahab riaz and gul. Our batting is pathetic and with this bowling attack we are no-hopers. There is no reason we can't lose test match with this team.

I have been consistently saying....

Our batting line up is weak... to be messing around with the bowling attack only increases the risk of embarassment.

^ Batting has let us down for some time now. Quite a shame, poor bowlers do all the hard yards and hardly ever get a proper rest.

hafeez flop perfectly sets up a return for damaad, shabaash.

azhar run out  i hate run outs in non-limited overs cricket

Looks like Umar won’t play the first test after this batting collapse. Someone will have to make way for Shafiq. They won’t drop Hafeez. Anyway let’s see how the bowlers respond today. They are going in with 2 specialist spinners which I wanted to see + the 2 Khans as the pace options.

Just woke up and looked at the scorecard, shocking to say the least.

That scorecard is wrong. We actually scored 2222 and Misbah made a 36 ball century. :afridi

Also, we're slow starters.

Guys, let's look at the positives here. Well played Younis Khan and Azhar Ali!

misbah par toh comment karo mr. bbc

7 50s and a ton in last 11 test innings - you can't ask for much more

a century in the warm up game before the WI test series (101*)

http://www.espncricinfo.com/west-indies-v-pakistan-2011/engine/match/489211.html

a century in the warm up game before the NZ test series (126*)

http://www.espncricinfo.com/new-zealand-v-pakistan-2010/engine/match/488910.html

one rare failure and we are on to his case

double standards being shown

But yeah 36 balls without troubling the scorers isn’t the greatest start to the tour

Why you ppl not talk about another duck man hafeez only misbah misbah

Cos hafeez flatters to deceive most times anyway, whereas misbah can look like a world beater one day and den a no 11 the next

oh well atleast this shoddy batting performance has come in practice game rather then in test match!

There's Aizaz Cheema, too.

They should have played Asad Shafiq in this practice match anyway.

don't u remember those selfish knocks to save his captaincy when he drew the match against south africa in abu dhabi n against newzeland in wellington?? selfish of the lot n due to his presence we are not able to see a a pure class like muhammad yousuf in our team:facepalm:

than why hafeez in test he would be play in odi rameez raja should play there

To be honest, the scorecard seems unbelievable... :misbah

But then Professor's usual duck brings me back to the harsh reality.:hafeez

Misbah Is The Most Successful Pakistan Test Captain Since Inzamam

Test Record since 2007 World Cup & Inzy retirement under different captains. Considering Pakistan have never really been considered a top tier side for a considerable amount of time even a draw would be regarded as a positive achievement. Here is the record under the different leaders during this period of time. As you can see Misbah Ul Haq has the best record out of all the others who have had the chance to lead the nation since October 2007:

Malik: Played 5, won 0 , lost 2, drawn 3 (40% losses)

Younis: Played 5, won 0, lost 2, drawn 3 (40% losses)

Yousuf: Played 6, won 1, lost 4, drawn 1 (67% losses)

Afridi: Played 1, won 0, lost 1, drawn 0 (100% losses)

Butt: Played 5, won 2, lost 3, drawn 0 (60% losses)

Misbah: Played 6, won 2, lost 1, drawn 3 (17% losses)
