Not even the Perth Grade Cricket stalwart Ronchi could save New Zealand from humiliation

I'd have Taylor in there somewhere.

Williamson, Boult and Southee will probably finish up in it as well.

I didn't see Ian Smith, would he make it in there ahead of McCullum?

Cricinfo said Ian Smith.

I guess McCullum if you want a keeper batsman.

I'll take out Donnelly for Taylor

RE: AT X1s.

Please differentiate between ODIs and Tests.

In ODIs, B Mc is a must for NZ.

Who said Ronchi can't bat? Been a fan of him ever since his 64 odd at a 250 Strike Rate against West Indies in 2008.

Great over for the Blackcaps. Need to hold out till the last overs. We could still make a decent total.

Ronchi doing WA proud, Convict how long has it been since a WA scored a century at the international level?

Chris Rogers two tests ago.
Shaun the test before that and Rogers a few times against the Poms

Elsewhere I once picked an AT NZ ODI X1:

N. Astle
B. McCullum (w)
G. Turner
M. Crowe
R. Taylor
S. Fleming *
S. Styris
C. Cairns
D. Vettori
R. Hadlee
S. Bond

May tweak it as the likes of Boult and Southee become established stars pushing for AT Kiwi jerseys.

NZ showing a tonne of guts and heart to get this far.

Props to them. Can think of many teams that could learn from this ;-)

This is brilliant from Ronchi now.

Btw, how do you get those flashing icons for 4's and 6's?

Ronchi and Boult approaching the record highest 10th wicket partnership for NZ>

I'm trying to figure out if I should use the Wagner-Watling eligibility rule for my WA ATG XI

If a player played their entire international career whilst at WA should I count them?

Pretty good fightback this.

Should be a good game. Hopefully Boult can put the Saffers under pressure.

Ronchi was actually born in NZ, he learn't his trade in WA - hence why he was crap for a while, now that he's back home, he's started to improve.

Under par score, decent score considering our position.

Need to bowl really well to win this one, at least it's something to bowl with.

And Wagner-Watling?

You can make a decision on whether I can count someone who played all their international cricket whilst with WA.

We certainly didn't teach him how to choke on 99- must be Martin Crowe's influence

If he was still plying in his trade in WA, he would have never gotten that close anyway. A solid improvement.

Boult and Southee have to run through them... Gotta make a game out of this..

Hopefully.
Put the Saffers under pressure so they fear the choker tag.

Losing to this batting lineup minus the main three is massive

Southee isn't playing.

Don't think we have enough wicket taking bowlers playing to win this.

Vettori and McCullum are containing bowlers, Neesham and Anderson are just there to make up the overs.

Although Anderson does have the knack of picking up 2-3 wickets.

Unfortunate for Luke to miss out on the hundred! Brilliant innings by him though! Gets his team to a defendable total.

Holy -.

Canterbury made 382 against the Irish XI Donal Cozzie lol

ROFL :)))

Hira made 170 hussain.r97 leatherface58

Looks like aussie reject saved NZ here:p.
150 looked impossible at one time
150 never looked impossible :ibutt

Australian reject is Kiwi born, not his fault he learnt his trade in WA.

FTR, do you guys reckon Amla is the best ODI bat of alltime now?

Almost 100 games, ave 54.xx . 15 tons.

I mean Viv is Viv, but bar him - Amla is next up now?

All of that is extra special as he opens or bats #3 throughout his time.

lol I wouldn't even dare dream that :)))

Mark Richardson needs a PP smiley

Looks like the hack stepped up! Still an underwhelming total. Hopefully, we will give a good fight.

Boult needs to take 2-3 wickets in his first spell for us to have any chance.

Need to remove Faf and Amla asap.
