On the contrary. Chatter behind the stumps helps lift the team, especially after two wickets have fallen. I'd rather our keeper be talkative then be a mute like Dhoni (obviously Kamran needs to also take any chances that come to him as well, which hes thankfully done today)

This nepotism is drowning Pakistan team and will take them out quite early in the world cup if this doesnt come to an end. At first this was confined to team selection now even the support staff is selected on friendship basis. Rediculous.

IF the batsman are after him he knows that odi pitch up delievery can do the job..

RANA Keep bowling short and the more he gets hit the shorter does he bow..?? what logic is behind that?

Sami and Rana would not mind that - they would use that opportunity to vanish in the crowd and not return at all

BTW ... if anyone is following the AUS-NZ game, Australia's required rr has climbed over 8 runs/over. Ponting (63*) and Hodge are at the crease.

eish, this is rather dumb putting in Prince now ... he bats slower then Kallis ... I would rather watch Kemp, Boucher or Pollock who are all attacking players
 
People who are complaining about Inzi...are you freakin watching the match? He has been super active...couple wides from Afridi and he moves the fielder so he can ball straighter...

Seriously if Inzi balls himself I bet he could have done better job than both Rana and Sami!

It is easy to talk all that on here and on tv however when your in the middle you have to think about enough things. SA basically has 200 on the board...how aggressive do you want Inzi to be right now...he is just trying to slow them down for a while.

That was excellent work from captain and bowler, pack the off side, keep the ball outside there, then switch a player leg side and give the batsman something on the stumps. Well planned wicket.

I understand that teams do have bad times ,but my point is that rana's first spellwas expensive and he was taken to the cleaners by SA , and what inzi does brings rana back for another and he goes for 27 , he should have brought the spinners to calm things down and gave rana and sami to gather their thoughts before the second spell.

Thats all, and as a team and cricket fan ,i have the right to critisize as well as praise when needed.

I agree on that... Sa are good players of pace and bad players of spin,,,

Inzi should have taken the pace out of the bowl by making spinners bowls a lot earlier..

Rana has always been a good ODI bowler and a poor test bowler. YOu cant predict his ODI form based on his test form. Besides, he only played 1 test

What you did just now was excellent. You discussed with good behaviour, that you SHOULD be allowed to do, but not critsizing as a dehati jaahil anpar, which I think none of us in this forum are.

No offense but bit of common sense wouldn't hurt.

If bowlers are rubbish and totally forgot to bowl...what is Inzi suppose to do? He had long chats with Asif, Rana and Sami...working with the spinners as well...the only thing left to do is roll his arm.
 
We need a wicket now ... If South Africa enters the last ten overs with wickets in hand, they will demolish our bowling. As it is, Rana/Sami are struggling ... hit a boundary off of them, and they completely lose it!

On the flip side, if Pakistan can make a game out of this, imagine what that'd do to the morale ... not just for the rest of this series, but even in WC. Like chasing India's 349 at Karachi two years back. With 344 runs, they still lost, but set a tone for the series.

so if the bowlers are bowling both sides of the wickets what field can the captain set, look at ponting in the ashes last year, he looked clueless, because of a inept attack, but this time round better attack and his captaincy looked good
 
Cant understand what is Inzi's theory behind giving away 1s and 2s, Prince and Kallis have shown no intention what so ever of attacking but still a defensive field is set and then people wonder why Inzi is being held responsible here.
 
Lets imagine Afridi/Razzaq fire today which is highly unlikely for Afridi atleast...but when SA bowlers are being spanked around the park...would that make smith a bad captain...least there is more chance of his bowlers bowling to a plan...in our case no hope!
 
Inzi's faults in my opinion:
-Sticking with Sami (how many 'last chances' has he been given?)
-Giving the ball back to Rana over after over when even Rana himself would've brought in someone else had he been the captain.

These are the only two (and HUGE) mistakes I'm mad at, something anyone with a common sense could've avoided.
 
I think Inzi has nothing to do with the initial poor bowling of the fast bowlers....

The bowlers were just not good enough to bowl well and Inzi or any other skipper cannot set fielding for poor bowling ....

If Inzi is to be blamed for the initial stick he should also get the credit for bringing in Hafeez into the bowling which has brought back pakistan into the game............

Smith is a terrible captain we all know that already.
 
I should add I don't think Inzi should be giving these singles away...I am talking about the time when the fast bowlers were being spanked...he wasn't doing much wrong at the time.

Whether I missed the point is irrelevent. Just making sure that you agree he is responsible for all our victories (which are mroe than defeats) so overall he has been fairly successful.
 
afridis bowled well so far, but i fear for the attack if they keep wickets in hand we could be chasing a mammoth total
