To be fair, there has been movement in the first 10 overs in this WC so the flat pitches haven't hurt until the latter stages of the innings. There wasn't much today though but none of the African bowlers were hit around so it is all good.

The biggest travesty that I have seen was actually AB De Villiers' bogus record v West Indies.

I remember when Steve O'Shaughnessy was credited with equalling Percy Fender's record for the fastest century in minutes.

Hayden kept reiterating a point about drop in pitches during the test series. that could be a reason. I remember in Nzl specifically how much each ball swung when India toured there in 2003. It was a very low scoring series and even Gavin Larsen looked threatening.

watch first 10 balls Virat faced , even against Rohit . Dhawan though was playing a lot of shots , luckily it worked for him & Steyn dint bowl in the right areas relatively . if this was a easy pitch we would not have scored 40 runs in first 11-12 overs .
