Let's put an imaginary situation where you have Bevan , Dhoni and Klusener batting after AB. Suddenly , you will have AB playing freely in almost every game. Even to score or bat in certain style, it makes a huge difference who is coming after you to bat.

Excellent point. And that is why I believe that Afridi needs to bat up the order say number 4 or 5. Or alternatively Pakistan would have liked a good alrounder at number 8 following Afridi at number 7.

There's Theunis De Bruyn to also consider. He's beastly. In the next two years we will have on e of the strongest middle orders going around. Guys like De Bruyn, Van Zyl and Elgar are breaking the door down.

Yeah I want to beef up our bowling as well. Hopefully Rabada and de Lange can develop into something special with their raw pace.
Rabada just took 9 wickets in the 2nd innings and 5 in the 1st innings against the Lions in a 1st class game breaking Steyn's record at a tender age of 19. We have a few decent spin bowlers as well now. Hammer should stick to tests sommer, how he doe in India could define his career, then there is Piedt to keep him on his toes.
