nah sami has been great prior to this match...and he can hit some big shot too...91 runs off 57 balls....i still cant figure out how in the earth afridi hit century out of 37 balls

It was a 50-50 decision, i was once in an exact same situation in 7th grade but the difference is that i won the game for my team and zulu didn't:D
 
I dont believe this, Tigers needed something like 12-13 runs an over from the start of 12th over( thats when i started wathcing)...but thanks to Sami they stayed in the hunt till the last over...but thank god an embarrasment of a life time has been avoided and Badshaahs are through to semis...

by the way, why was Klusener demanding 2 balls when Azhar bowled a wide??!

No... its not that I was disagreeing with you Oxy, I just wasn't sure which bowler to pick instead of him. If I have to, then I'd vote for Arshad!

What a match !! Klusner played like a true champ that he is. But in the end, a good victory for the Bad'shahs after Sami almost single-handedly cost them a place in the finals.

yeah...see Sami is such a great cricketer...independent!! He needs no assistance from anyone else in doing such things..!
Cricketers are remembered for a long time becoz of their match winning ability...Sami would be remembered for his match losing ability!

Sami did not bowl bad..... it was klusener who batted superbly. Plus..... Azhar's bowling figures are identical to Sami's;

yeah....but it was Azhar only who saved the Badshahs in the end in the last over otherwise Sami had almost set the stage for Tigers' victory in the 19th over!!
2ndly, it was Sami who dropped Klusener's catch not Azhar!!

By bashing Sami, you are taking all the credit away from great batting by Zulu!
 
For a moment I thought Lahore were going to do a 'New Zealand' at the 1992 World Cup, by walking through the group stage, but then getting knocked out at the semis as favourites.

I disagree here. 31 runs were needed in last 2 overs. Sami did HIS JOB by giving away ONLY 13 runs and leaving Tigers to score 18 runs in last over......which were impossible any aways because even in this match 18 (or more) runs were scored in only THREE overs...out of which 2 were by Badshahs.

In my opinion, 13 runs in 2nd last over SAVED the game!
