2nd Test between Pakistan (148 & 443/7) and Australia (556/9d & 97/2d) ends in a tense draw on Day 5

5 more tests, means 10 inns... For a potential youngster like Shafique, chances like that can be given in a hope that with exeperience and more that he plays, he will get better..

I would like to see Kmaran Ghulam, Saud Shakeel, Haider Ali, Hurraira debut in tests and take the spots of Azhar ALI and Fawad Alam..

Fawad with that shambolic technique , gives no hope to anyone...will just be remembered for his awkward stance nothing more than that...

We played a mediocre batter like Asad Shafiq for decades. No way PCB can be this forward thinking!
 
Let these two first survive till tea before expecting them to bat for 40+, 50+ overs. They won't survive for 40+ overs , the other incoming Batsmen will have to offer their contribution towards saving this Test. It will be great if these two survive till Tea atleast.
 
Onus on these two to save the test.

Imagine Pant in these situations and he goes out and win the game for his team from here on infront of the Australian crowd against the full strength Australian attack. Can Rizwan do something like that here?

Asad Shafiq was one of the few guys in the Misbah era who batted with a strike rate over 50

Everyone else were playing at 40.

Kamran ghulams debut is overdue, he should replace fawad at no 5 soon.

Although azhar has been paks best batsman in the past 2 years for pak. He is nearing retirement age Saud Shakeel or salahuddin should replace azhar within the next year.

If Pakistan lose this, it will be due to loser Alam making no contribution to the series so far. All what was needed today of him was to survive for like 20-25 overs and even that he couldn't provide. The team should move forward from him and blood a youngster.
 
Don't think Rizwan will last long here, he's like headless chicken. Babar has very little support from the other end.
 
Rizwan needs to keep to basic, stay still and play straight..This isnt an ODI or T20
 
Umpire saving pakistan there. I don’t think there should be Pakistani or Australian umpires used in a match involving Pakistan and Australia

Given how docile the pitch is, the Aus havent thrown the game away. If anything, they have done everything in their position to make a game out of it.

If they lose, then I would agree with you. But if they draw, then its because the pitch was docile, and Babar played a fantastic innings.

Lol...where were you when same umpires call favoured Smith and Marnus earlier.

And Indians should be the last ones to complain about umpiring standards anywhere

Shakil needs to replace Azhar not Fawad who has been phenomenol for Pakistan.
 
Babar looking rusty now and can depart any moment. If he could somehow survive till the tea
 
Babar has worked so hard here but it won't count for anything if he gives it away during final moments of the match , need to bat for some more overs now .

I don't know why everyone is complaining. Its umpires call. Part of the rules of the game.
 
Umpire saving pakistan again. Honestly it’s ridiculous that there are Pakistani umpires for a match involving Pakistan. This would never happen in football
