West Indies win the toss and elect to bowl first.
Akshar patel comes in place of Mishra and Jason holder comes in place of Rampaul.

VVS Laxman - Was considered a Test specialist , played in pre T-20 era . ODI strike rate 71.23.

Ambati Rayudu - Plays in T-20 era , was once considered successor to Sachin in ODI's . ODI strike rate 69.23.

Just Sayin'.

Speed-gun allright? Taylor's whole over measured at 120kph. :))

8 balls in the match, and fastest delivery is 125kph.

Strange WI opted to bowl first. Is it a chasing ground?

Btw, what a lovely stadium with the mountains towering in background.

A small, dew-prone ground. Even Dhoni said he would have preferred to chase.

Dharamshala gets the worst dew among all Indian grounds.

130kph barrier yet to be crossed. Average bowling speed - 124kph.

They should just stop showing the speeds, its embarrassing.

Akshar Patel better be careful - there is a lot of elbow movement going on when he bowls his quicker ball.

I suppose the WIs don't chase because mentally they are rubbish at it.

he is clean, bowls with half sleeves :msd

meh no interest in this game honestly!

Looking forward to Anelka(Mumbai) vs Trezeguet(Pune) at night!

and one got out as I type lol

The ground setting is just beautiful. Reminds me of some matches I watched in Abottabad.

Really impressed with Rahane. Looks so assured at the crease. Very rarely troubled.

plumb lbw not given.. Indians once again getting the benefit of not using DRS. Electron

Vineet kulkarni is one of the worst indian umpires ever.
Seriously Indian umpires shouldn't be allowed to officiate

We got four against us last match, so there is nothing like "Indians getting benefit again".

I want DRS too, but its sad that people can only see the one going in our favor. West Indies still lead us 4-1.

Rahane is a tremendous player, but needs to make his ability count for more.

As it turns out, that was NOT-OUT.

Rahane given out unfairly. So, 5 Decisions AGAINST India this series, compared to none against West Indians. :)

He will do well everywhere, just needs to improve his concentration.

Completely agree. He rarely looks troubled even in good conditions. It's not often you see him edge the ball. Doesn't seem to have a hunger for centuries in ODIs though but still a massive upgrade on Rohit.

Point 1 - Slow batting against WI in India does not mean Kohli is back in form.

Point 2 - Kohli's issue has not been his form but a particular delivery. Until he is tested with that ruthlessly and he comes out with flying colours, one can't say for sure we have got back our old Kohli.

Still pretty decent knocks.

Would do Kohli's confidence a world of good.

Indian team's fortunes this WC rely heavily on Virat Kohli. I really hope that he scores a 100 here, cuz if he does, they will keep coming.

Agree with everything. Still backing him to be your best batsman in Australia and truly putting the doubters to rest.
