This is one match i'm looking forward to. Afghan has got the pace bowling but not the batting, but if the pace bowling could restrict the opposition below 200 then this team could have a chance.

If Afghans can win against any top 8 team, it is India. Fold us to around 200 and chase it down against our national clowns.

Only to be topped off by the inevitable loss to Pakistan.

Thats a bit too much to ask of their bowling.

Tomorrow is going to be a long day for Indian fans with loss for words, mourning. How badly this team fallen is beyond me.. The team neither has the talent nor the will to succeed. I think they have their sights set on return flight than the world cup.

Don't be so gloomy. India at the very least is going to qualify for the SF, and from then on anything can happen.

No mate, I couldn't care less if this team actually makes its way into semis. They will, if they play Sri Lanka in the quarters. The team is very uninspirational. There is nothing to look forward to.. And it's the world cup.

Wouldn't be surprised to see India lose. The end of Dhoni-Srini era is near, thank god for that.

so far they have been losing to teams that might be playing the final so don't lose hopes. They are still one of favorites. India should easily qualify for Semi final.

Too much to ask from afghans. At best they can put a decent fight and I doubt that too. Indian batting is too mighty for arguably inexperience attack and under pressure, afg batting will also fail.

having said that, it is indeed a great moment in afghan cricket. best of luck to them and may they rise through ranks to become a great cricketing force.

Excuse me,but are you the Mamoon of India ?

Not really. I'm a disappointed fan. I've seen a line up of Sachin, Sehwag, Yuvraj transform into Rayudu, Rahane, Raina. I have the right to be disappointed.

Why Indian fans so pessimistic?

India is probably gonna trash Afghanistan tomorrow.

I do not care about the result of the match.

All I want is to get Rohit/Dhawan/Kohli to spend some time in the middle.

India is lacking confidence. Their main players in ODI's (Kohli/Dhawan) have not spend much time in the middle at all. India's failing is mostly due to these 2 batsmen.

We all believe that our team is trash because we lost to Aus way too many times in this tour. The same team looked like ATG's in that Lanka ODI series. Its all conditions.

I do not believe India does not have the talent. Its mostly confidence. Just look at Warner play. He oozes confidence and backs himself to play his shots. Dhawan/Rohit/Kohli have all played like wussies and even when they played attacking shots, they are hesitant. They just do not trust their abilities. Hopefully it will change before it is too late.

Australia at the moment is one of the better sides in the world. India is still good, Afghanistan's bowling won't trouble them at all.

This will be a good practice for the Indian batsmen. The Afghan cricketers are very rough though, they will sledge at every point, I want to see how Indian batsmen handle, if the Afghans sledge Kohli, he will make them chase leather all day. Come on Team India.

India has been losing only to teams that have high chance to winning the cup. I think some of the Indians here are too pessimistic. The recent losses indicate that India may not win the WC like 2011 but they may be good enough for a SF berth.

Finally India will win a match on this 6 month tour... but I don't know if warm ups count as official matches.

very much looking forward to this match. i don't know how well we will do against india. but whatever the result is, i just want a close game from our team. i am looking forward to hamid hassan, and javed ahmadi ( opener) who recently scored 169 against western australia in the warm up match.

India has been loosing to TOP TEAMS, its not that you have been loosing to kiwi club sides and ur batters have suddenly become duffers.India will easily win against Afghans, and the one on the 15th.

This will be India's first oversees victory in..... ? How many months ?

Who would you support in Afghanistan-Bangladesh match.

Seeing Pakistan historically has awkward relations with both Bangladesh and Afghanistan who would you support if they both met. I would be with Bangladesh 100%, can't stand the others!

how about being neutral. Given a choice I would support Bangladesh. They were Pakistanis at one point. Our own blood.

Bangladesh :butt

Joy Bangla, Joy Taskin. Joy 150 kph.

I have actually planned on watching the match with a few of my dear Afghan Augai Jaans and my hamsar am, they are coming over to watch the match. It's three of them and me single, so 3 vs 1 and my hamsar is forcing me to support Afghanistan, I said 'yes' to make her happy. But my heart is with Taskin :asif

Hai Allah save us from another embarrassment.

Should be an easy win for India. Not sure why all the Indians are being so negative.

There are quite a few Afghan students in Bangladesh. They came out to support Afghanistan in the Asia Cup.

Bengal was a thriving trading region a few centuries back and this attracted people from all over the subcontinent including Pathans. Most of them mixed with the local Bengali population that's why you find a few Khans from Bangladesh however most are just fakes and adopted the Khan surname when they converted to Islam due to the prestige the name holds.

Not a fan of either, but Bangladeshis are nicer than Afghans so I'll be inclined to root for them, but i would actually be a neutral, i don't think i would even watch the game

Love that guy Hamid Hassan, hopefully he can remain fit for the tournament

Indian lions are hungry for a win, poor Afghans will get crushed today.

Should be an easy win for India. I look forward to watch Afghanistan bowl.

I don't know why people are surprised.

Afghanistan should win comfortably.

Can India upset Afghanistan?

It would need Kohli or Rohit to fire for India to actually have a chance.... which is unlikely.

Afghanistan to win by 6 wickets batting second and win by 70 runs batting first.
