What are your thoughts.

Ajay Bhai was a star of the 1990s Indian white ball team while Ravender bhai is mainstay of Indian test team and an emerging white ball star.

Aside of smashing Waqar on that one big day, Ajay's best work remains his close-up act with Bipasha Basu.

So, I will say Ravindra Jadeja.

Jadeja 2.0 is better but people are selling original Jadeja short here.

Fixing tarnished his legacy but odi were different back then and his record is equivalent to somebody like a Morgan from current times.

Ajay Jadeja was a rubbish batsman who tried to be a poor tribute act to Michael Bevan. Contrary to popular perceptions, ODIs in the nineties were rife with limited cricketers succeeding at the highest level due to blanket restrictions on short-pitch bowling.

Ravindra Jadeja is a world class all-rounder in home conditions, so this shouldn't even be up for debate.

A. Jadeja was a better batsman and R. Jadeja is a better bowler. Both were brilliant fielders, but R. Jadeja has the edge.

A. Jadeja was India’s man of crisis in the 90’s. Whenever India was in trouble after losing Tendulkar, Ganguly, Dravid and Azharuddin early, he would don his white hat and try to repair the innings alongside Robin Singh.

Both were very useful players for India at the time.

A. Jadeja ban came at a convenient time because he was going to lose his place in the 2000s anyway due to the emergence of players like Yuvraj, Kaif and Dhoni.

A tad harsh but you have got a point there. 90’s was an easy era for ODI batting. Strike rates of 75 were acceptable and short pitched bowling wasn’t allowed.

A lot of average ODI batsmen of 2010s would have been really good in the 90’s.

Bevan was also a beneficiary. He would have definitely been a lesser ODI batsman today.

I think a nudger like Vettori would have been a useful number 6 in ODIs in the 90’s.

Ravi J has won more Tests for India than Ajay J has played .... no comparison.

Agreed on Vettori.

Bevan was a product of his time, he would have been out of his depth in the modern era.

Ravindra Jadeja is obviously better but posters are underrating ajay jadeja here

An avg of 37 with str rate 70 was good in the 90s(plus best indian fielder) , probably a Suresh Raina level player.

SR of 70 as a finisher is good? Thats Dravid level without his average/solidity

Not much love for the 1990s Jadeja be aise of the fixing issue.

To be honest however none of them is still the greatest Jadeja of all time.

Let it be known that despite the intense rivarly, the brotherhood between Jadeja community is as strong as ever and is probably at an all time high.

Only a Jadeja can know the true value of another Jadeja and India is blessed to have a Jadeja in every generation to provide that much needed swagger and mental fortitude.
