Arsenal FC | 2022/23 Season

1-0 Arsenal. 10th away win of the season. Arsenal have picked up more points away from home this season they they did in entire last season (9 wins from 19 last year)

Big 3 points today.

Well played Arsenal. The ref was appalling which didn't make it easy so I won't criticise the side for not scoring more goals.

Good win that.

Got to take those scrappy 1-0 wins especially away from home.

We have 10 away games this season. Last season won 9 drawn 1 lost 9 which was pathetic.

Huge up turn in away form is difference this season.

Last season we lost up north to Everton, united, city, Liverpool and Newcastle

This season the 3 games vs City, Liverpool and Newcastle in April will decide if Arsenal can win title this season.

Doesn't Apply vs Arsenal, we all know the FA are full of cheats.

We need to win this game, can't drop points with City and United not far behind us.

There was a lack of consistency in the first half in relation to the disallowed goal and the penalty appeal when Saka was clearly dragged down by the Leicester defender.

In the second half, Saka made an excellent challenge where got the ball cleanly. Ref awarded Leicester a free kick. Refeee was appalling.

I agree and if I'm honest I can see us losing all three of these games. They're very tough fixtures.

Apart from Newcastle away last season,we have generally done well there. We haven't won at man City since 2015 or Liverpool since 2012. We need Jesus back for those 3 games. If we can manage draws at Anfield and eithad and win at Newcastle we have a chance. But this is were big game naivety needs to be cut out.

We need a big a lead as possible over city going into April.

Dawson is a very poor referee, seem to just lose control of game early on. I'm just glad we didn't get robbed by referee and VAR.

Gabriel Martinelli's goal was enough to help Arsenal extend their lead at the top of the Premier League with a hard-fought 1-0 win at Leicester City.

The Brazilian struck in the first minute of the second half, latching on to a deft pass from Leandro Trossard to roll his shot past Danny Ward.

Trossard had a fine first-half goal disallowed after Arsenal's Ben White held Ward in the build-up.

Arsenal lead Manchester City by five points before Pep Guardiola's side face Bournemouth in Saturday's 17:30 GMT kick-off.

Leicester, who remain 14th, were lacklustre although Kelechi Iheanacho had a goal flagged for offside shortly after Trossard's disallowed effort and Anthony Dewsbury-Hall curled a shot just wide in the second half.

Following their second consecutive away win, the Gunners are next in action when they host Everton on Wednesday.

Edu is useless when it comes to transfers, always takes way to long and messes most of them up.

Jorginho signing makes zero sense, we have 3 midfielders already over 30 and now he wants another? We are still going to need to sign 2 midfielders in summer if we sign this cast off.

Chelsea fans online are all laughing at Arsenal as usual, they are signing Enzo while we take another has been off them.

Cech, Luiz, William and now maybe jorginho. Shambles.

Also xhaka is very slow in midfield, add Jorginho to it and you have zero mobility or pace, id rather Arsenal recall patino from loan then this mediocre player.

Pathetic signing, guy is slower then xhaka, not press resistant and side ways passer like lakonga and elneny. Edu disaster class signing

Stats are meaningless here. Partey has been best CDM in the league, jorginho has been rubbish all season. Have you watched jorginho this season?

Here we go again, basing everything on stats. One of my best mates is a Chelsea season ticket holder and has wanted this guy gone for 18 months. All Chelsea fans online are against calling arsenal the retirement club, embarrassing to say the least.

He can't run and is worse than xhaka. Then again you think Vieira has been good this season, again shows how little football you actually watch.

It is incredible how you are wrong about each and everything. You don’t even get lucky.

Jorginho has been excellent and it was inevitable the moment you called him a poor signing.

He is exactly the experienced, cool head Arsenal needed at this stage of the season.

Our record there won't count for much because the current Newcastle side (since 2022) are a different beast to their predecessors.

I don't know if you watched Newcastle v Liverpool game last Saturday. Even with 10 men they caused Liverpool a lot of problems. If it wasn't for the sending off, I reckon they would have pulled it back and got something out of that game. Liverpool got lucky.

We're going to have to be at our very best to win at St James Park. I hope Newcastle do us a favour when they visit the Etihad next weekend.

I don't think the Newcastle game will easy either, that's why I mentioned it along with Liverpool and city. However, I think of we gave Jesus and partey back I think it what will be a cagey game I think we would have that extra bit of quality to win a tight game.

We need to just win our next 2 home games as city have Newcastle and their bogey team Palace coming up soon.

We have 4 home games and 1 away game vs Fulham in next 5. We need to all 4 home games.

This season the 3 games vs City, Liverpool and Newcastle in April will decide if Arsenal can win title this season.

It could be decided way before that. Arsenal are now set to experience a fixture pile up with a thin squad and a number of undercooked players on the bench who aren't quite ready to step up.

Losing a couple of key players to injury now will likely be enough end Arsenal's title hopes in March/April.

The team not only needs to dig deep but they also need to be very lucky with injuries otherwise it's advantage City.

ESR and Partey were back in the squad and Jesus should be back soon. That will help the squad massively.

"If" Arsenal getting back to fully fit squad then there are better options to come from the bench, which since the restart has been the main issues. Fully fit squad

Ramsdale white gabi saliba zinny partey xhaka oddegaard saka Jesus martinelli

Bench like for like player - Tomi, Trossard, ESR, jorghino, Tierney.

Arsenal would be in a situation where they have 5 players on bench who could slot into starting 11 and quality doesn't drop.

Rest of Bench then would be kiwor, Turner, Eddie, Vieira these players are not similar quality but are players who can be used in the europa league games.

Most games recently we have had 1 game changers on the bench thats it.

Yes in April, if we get past sporting Lisbon in March, we will end up with 9 fixtures. Yes it won't be easy and a strain. However if we don't get injuries we can atleast depend on 16 quality 1st team players for the PL games.

But like you have mentioned players being undercooked ESR, Tierney, Jesus will be an issue but this is where certain players need to get game time in 2 europa league games

City have won as expected, gap is back to 2 points.

Everton will do what they did at Goodison Park, they will park the bus, be dangerous on set pieces and also be physical in midfield, partey needs to come back in on weds as we need his physical presence in midfield and on set pieces. We need to be clinical on weds as most dyche teams don't give many chances away.

You'll beat Everton with ease, they are a poor side

It was just unlucky timing you played them away and in Dyche's first game

I think you win your next two whilst I think City potentially drop points in their next two

That's a gap you'll need as you said those away fixtures in April are tough

Everton on Wednesday is our game in hand on City, crucial that we win. Should be easier, with a few wins under our belt now from that turbulent period and playing at home. Dyche's honeymoon period already looks to be over.

Win on Wednesday and our lead stretches to 5 points, with both teams having 13 games left to play.

ESR and Partey coming back to fitness, the imminent return of Jesus. Confidence should increase that we can pull off something special!

Arsenal's Leandro Trossard 'really good' as false nine in win at Leicester, says Mikel Arteta

Mikel Arteta praised Leandro Trossard's performance as the central striker in Arsenal's win at Leicester on Saturday after he claimed the assist for Gabriel Martinelli's winner.

The Belgian forward has played as a left winger since his arrival from Brighton last month but was deployed as a false nine in the 1-0 win at the King Power Stadium.

Trossard scored with an impressive bending effort in the first half that was disallowed following a VAR review but put that disappointment behind him to nutmeg Harry Souttar with a through ball that set Martinelli on his way to scoring the only goal of the game just after half-time.

"He was really good," said Arteta. "He got involved in many situations that could have ended in many big chances. He was involved in the incredible goal he scored that was disallowed. He was involved in the goal of Gabi with the pass he plays to him.

"He is so good in the small spaces. He’s got that creativity to open people up and I’m really happy with him."

It was unclear whether Trossard or Martinelli would start as the central striker against Leicester once Eddie Nketiah was named on the bench and Arteta explained he wanted to be flexible depending on how the Foxes played.

"We have the option to play Leo as the No 9 and we have the option to play Gabi as the No 9 and Leo on the left," said the manager.

"We wanted to see how the game developed and what Leicester wanted to do. I think his contribution was really good."

Trossard was joined in the starting XI by his fellow January signing Jorginho and Arteta is delighted with the way the pair have settled into his squad.

"They are two players that have experience in the league and are really well fitted for our way of playing," he said. "Both of them are really intelligent to understand what we demand and they have the personality to come here and play the way they play. This is what is required at this level."

Trossard was signed after Arsenal lost out to Chelsea for the signing of Mykhailo Mudryk, while Jorginho was targeted after Brighton turned down their bids for Moises Caicedo.

Arteta said he was "really happy" with the processes that led to the club signing the duo, adding: "We were very clear with what we wanted to do. We had an idea but we had to adapt and in the window that’s something you have to do.

"We didn’t feel sorry for ourselves and I think everybody, from ownership to the board - Edu [sporting director] especially - were really strong and doing what we had to do."

Yeah, last season we were certainly hampered by injuries when we lost that game at St James Park.

Ben White didn't look fit. We had the awful Nuno Tavares at LB who made a foul throw that led up to their first goal.

An evening to forget that was.

We should be winning all 5 really.

If we regain form of 1st half of season fully, then yes we should. That would then take us into April with 9 games left and we need to increase this 2 point lead as big as possible.

Arsenal v Everton (19:45 GMT)

Mikel Arteta has named the same Arsenal side who narrowly beat Leicester on Saturday.

That means striker Eddie Nketiah remains on the bench with Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli getting the nod in attack.

Arsenal XI: Ramsdale, White, Gabriel, Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli, Saliba, Trossard, Jorginho, Xhaka, Zinchenko.

Subs: Turner, Tierney, Partey, Smith Rowe, Nketiah, Kiwior, Holding, Tomiyasu, Vieira.

Arsenal's Bukayo Saka: "We've won a couple of games in a row, we intend to make that three tonight.

"Tonight is a great opportunity to get three points which would be vital for us."

On how Everton will shape up (speaking before the teams were announced): "If I knew I'd be very happy. We'll be ready. We can prepare better when we see their line-up.

"All we can do is focus on what we can control. We can't control the future."

3 points is a must tonight, Arsenal not creating much so far and everton ones who have created a chance or two already.

Finally some quicker passing and great finish by Saka 1-0

Best winger in the league

That turn was sublime and finish ever better. Everton still causing us issues going forward, without Partey we aint winning ball back quickl enough in 50:50 duals.

what was the Everton player doing :)) good steal by Saka and finish by Martinelli

2-0 up already against Everton and going 5 points clear at the top of the table.

Saka 10 goals, 8 assists
Martinelli 10 goals, 2 assists

Both just 21.

Saka 10 goals, 8 assists
Martinelli 10 goals, 2 assists

Both just 21.

Best 2 younger players in the PL and will only get better.

Glad we got those 2 goals in quick succession, as before that we were poor for most of 1st half.

Lets hope we can smash everton in 2nd half.

Everton have gone into dirty foul mode in this 2nd half, hopefully we dont get any injuries here.

Tierney and ESR on.

Martinelli 4 goals in last 3 games, picking up form when its needed.

Good double save by Ramsdale

FT 4-0 - Lead back up to 5 points - 13 games Left

Bournemouth at home next

90 points need to be the Aim here at least come end of season points total.

Martinelli is a good talent but I feel he gets overrated a lot. He doesn’t have high footballing IQ & lacks composure. Unfortunately, it is rare to improve these aspects with experience because you either have it or you don’t.

Martinelli would never develop into a number 9 & although his explosive pace & energy on the wings makes him a difficult prospect to defend against, you cannot really start with him & have Trossard warm the bench.

The only thing Martinelli has over him is pace & it is not everything, especially when Trossard is miles ahead of him when it comes to passing, dribbling, first touch, decision-making etc.

Martinelli is a poor man’s Rashford. He will always go hot & cold. He is one of those players that I would be happy to see Arteta make a profit on & replace with a superior player in a year or so if he does not take his game to the next level which I feel he will not.

:)) pure comedy goal.

Martinelli showing in last 3 games how good a player he is when needed.

Squad looking stronger with Trossard there, Smith-Rowe back.

Squad looking stronger with Trossard there, Smith-Rowe back.

Once Jesus is back as well, we will then have ESR, Trossard and Eddie on bench which will help change games.

Since restart after the world cup we've had pretty much no game changers on the bench.

Fantatsic win, fantastic performance. That 2nd half was scintillating, looked just like the football we were playing at the start of the season.

Huge confidence boost and statement to thrash these guys and avenge our loss. Onto Bournemouth at home, hopefully another performance like this.

Mikel Arteta: Arsenal boss grateful for 'magic moments' as Gunners move five points clear at Premier League summit

Mikel Arteta hailed his players' ability to produce moments of magic after Arsenal beat Everton 4-0 to move five points clear of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table.

The Gunners endured a frustrating first 40 minutes against Sean Dyche's side but Bukayo Saka's superb opener, rifled home from Oleksandr Zinchenko's incisive pass shortly before half-time, set them on their way to a commanding victory.

Gabriel Martinelli added a second in first-half stoppage time when a VAR check ruled him onside after he was initially flagged offside, with Martin Odegaard scoring the third in the second half before the Brazilian added his second to wrap up the victory.

"I'm really happy," said Arteta afterwards. "It was the game that we had in hand against an opponent that we knew were going to make life really difficult for us. We experienced that at Goodison.

"We started the game with some frustration, not really understanding what we had to do, allowing them to run in certain transitions, but after 20 or 25 minutes I think we started to get much better and I think the timing of the first two goals was key.

"We needed a magic moment there and Alex [Zinchenko] and 'B' [Bukayo Saka] produced it. And then the team grew, especially with Thomas [Partey], because Jorgi wasn't feeling good today.

"When he came on, he really gave some presence and some stability to the team, and I think the second half was superb."

Asked again about Saka's opening goal, Arteta added: "In the end, you have to produce those magic moments and take that initiative and have that mentality, 'I'm going to do it on the pitch. I'm not going to wait for somebody else to do it.'

"When you have a few players who have the willingness and the capacity to do that, you have a better chance to win more games."

Saka and Martinelli's goals took them both into double figures in the Premier League this season, with their manager praising their appetite to learn and improve.

"Credit to them, because in the end they have to do it themselves, but we try to help them with our way of playing to get them in those positions as much as possible," he said.

"They are so willing to learn. They are asking for more every single day. They never have enough information. They want more, about the defenders, the space, the practice.

"In the end, when you have that, and you have the talent they have and the ideas they have, good things will happen."

Arsenal have now won three games in a row following a three-game winless streak which temporarily allowed Manchester City to move above them at the top of the table, but Arteta insists he never doubted his players' ability to bounce back.

"When you look at them every single day and you just feel how much you want it, and how much they really want to produce what we ask them to do, and how much they want to please our people, I had no doubts that we were going to turn things around.

"I'm really pleased with where the team is right now."

Asked about Arsenal's title chances, he added: "What I like is that everybody has the enthusiasm to do it. We're not going to stop that, we have to promote it.

"But the way to promote it is to look at this game and understand we have to do a lot of things better, especially in the first half, that we can play better, and make sure we prepare really well against Bournemouth because that's going to be a really tough game."

Martinelli showing in last 3 games how good a player he is when needed.

You don’t know anything about football so please don’t quote my posts. It has already been established that you are clueless.

The only quoting that will be done is when I will quote your dozens of posts in May when Arsenal wins the league.

I will need at least 24 hours to collect all the material considering you have been demanding Arteta to be sacked in three different threads and also claimed that Arsenal will not win the league.

Martinelli has not developed the way he should have. Both him and Saka were at the same level in 2019 and today, Saka is twice the player.

His decision-making is mostly circumspect, his head is always down and he does not see the play and the movement of the players the way Saka and Trossard do. He has a very dodgy first-touch and he is rarely in control of the ball when he is dribbling, he is clumsy.

Overall, his pace and energy does help the team greatly and he can be a decent finisher on his day, but let’s not pretend that he is an elite talent because he is not.

I would be more than happy to see him as a squad player in the long-term but as a certified starter? Not so much. He will always struggle with consistency and frustrate for long periods.

At start of the season you predicted Arsenal to finish 2nd and also for city to take 6 points of Arsenal.

Your the biggest flip flop going, you have zero credibility. Your now going to bump posts because you changed your mind on Arsenal mid season.

Hilarious 🤣

Well done Mr flip flop

Taken from: Premier league prediction thread: 10th October

Mamoon: "Nah, would take a big collapse from City but it is not happening. They are too good.

City should take all 6 points off Arsenal and they also have a lot more squad depth. Arsenal will suffer if any of the key players in attack get injured.

Should finish 2nd and it would be brilliant. Keep the core together and build on it next season.

Arsenal is back in the mix now and that is all that matters."

Mr flip flop predicted Arsenal to finish 2nd, yet changed his mind in November and is now going to bump posts.

🤣🤣 the fact you had no faith in Arsenal winning title until November and now you think you Mr know it.

Mr comedy central.

You don’t know anything about football so please don’t quote my posts. It has already been established that you are clueless.

Martinelli has not developed the way he should have. Both him and Saka were at the same level in 2019 and today, Saka is twice the player.

Let me address your clueless comments with Actual facts, once again one of your very best comedy posts.

So let's see a break down of the two players since 2019.

2019/20

Saka - 26 PL games (38 in Total)
Martinelli - 14 PL games (26 in Total)

Saka establishing himself as a regular as he could play in Multiple positions. Martinelli in his debut season did fairly well, not as much game time in PL has the club had a prime Auba in the time also laca and Pete doing well.

2021/21

Saka - 32 PL games (46 in Total)
Martinelli 14 PL games (22 in Total)

Martinelli missed most of the season with a serious knee injury, then when he did return Arteta kept picking willian every game. The europa league semi final vs villareal (1st leg) being a prime example of Arteta not rating Martinelli at time, left him out and played a false number nine when no other strikers available). Also again Saka had a good solid season.

2021/22

Saka 38 PL games (43 in Total)
Martinelli 29 games (36 in Total)

Saka 3rd solid season in a row, Martinelli plays 25+ PL games in a season for 1st time.

2022/23 (up to the Everton game)

Saka - 25 PL games (33 in total)
Martinelli - 25 PL games (33 in total)

Both players having solid seasons.

So since 2019 - Saka has played 25+ PL games a season for all season since 2019.

Martinelli in his 1st - 2 seasons was a bit part player due to Attacking options Arsenal had plus getting over a serious injury and then being benched as Arsenal kept picking willian no matter how rubbish he was.

So Martinelli in terms of progression has had last season and this season where he's been given a consistent run of games 25+ in PL.

Saka has played in reality a seasons worth more games then martinelli

Saka 121 PL games in 4 seasons
Martinelli 83 PL games in 4 seasons

Due to a mixture of better Attackers available, serious injury Martinelli is a season behind Saka when it comes to solid career progression.

So your so called theory that tha they should be at same level, when 1 player had played 39 PL games less (approx a seasons worth of games) is laughable to say the least.

Got our revenge against Everton last night. Good performance by the team. Saka's finish was very good from a tight angle with his wrong foot.

It was interesting to see Partey benched in favour of Jorginho. I was thinking myself even before the game it's hard to bench him considering excellent form of late.

Very harsh.

The only 3 left wing forwards who are superior to him are Mbappe, Vincius Jnr and Rashford.

This is his 2nd season where he's consistently played 25+ PL games. His 1st two seasons were as a bit part player. So for length of time Martinelli has played he's developed well.

Like you say there aren't many better then him.

Ignore the clueless posters who can't even get his facts right. His comparison to saka is funny, when Martinelli hasn't played as much football for different reasons.

Was no real need to change a winning team, plus Partey isn't 100% fit. The change at HT was done to regain physical presence in midfield as we were getting outworking in 1st half in most duals. Both players get 45 mins was ideal.

Also, Rashford is at different stage of his career as he's just hit his peak. Martinelli is 4 years younger than him so some would argue he has a higher ceiling.

But the main point is, I don't think anyone should be writing him off so early. Look at the form of Mudryk and Raphina - two players Arsenal tried to acquire. We're so lucky to have both Saka and Martinelli instead.

Do you think Reiss Nelson is a suitable backup for Saka? or should Arsenal look to upgrade in the summer?

Also who would you play in Saka's absence this season? (assuming Nelson remains injured)

Yeah Rashford has been around a lot longer and is a prime example of if you consistently give a good young player consistent game time, good coaching and play in a system that helps their strengths they will do well.

Martinelli is 12 months behind saka in development for the reasons I gave in my earlier post. Next season if he's playing 25+ PL games you see an even better output, as he's only going to get better. Hopefully the team play on left side will also improve which will help him develop him even more. Any top 6 side would take Martinelli into their starting 11.

Saka has been able to been able to be used in multiple positions in 4 seasons which has helped his all round game, playing at full back, wing back early on would have improved his game awareness, as a winger he's also developing alot, look at last season and his decision making in final 3rd wasn't the best and his finishing was still average at best, this is for a player in his 3rd full season, this season his decision making is that of a world class player and his finishing and composure that of a top class player. 4 season of consistent 25+PL game a season football has helped. Same will happen with Martinelli in 12 months time.

Even Eddie has improved with more regular game time, although he still has a lot to work on his game.

Nelson was rated as the best of all that young group he was in, but injuries haven't helped, also a previous lazy attitude in training etc.. (similar to AMN) hasn't helped. He's a decent player but I don't think he will make it Arsenal.

Finally ESR, last season Arsenal best player because he stayed fit for once most of the season, however he will end up another wilshire if he's not careful. He needs to stay fit for rest of season, next season will be make or break for him. If he stays fit he will be a key player in team, can play both wings and number 8, so he could be used where Saka plays. Arsenal would be really stupid if they sold him in the summer.

The more consistent football these youngsters player, they better they will get.

2 midfielders should be 1st team priority in the summer.

I would break the bank for Declan Rice.

Also, given the current squad and if I had £250m to spend my absolutely dream purchases would be Rice and Bellingham.

Rice doesn't have long left on his contract, so 60-70M max should be enough. Edu can't afford to be slow and pathetic with negotiations like he has been with all other missed primary targets. Arsenal need to get a deal done before united, Chelsea, city start throwing money around.

Bellingham or MNS would be other dream midfield signings. MNS ain't signing a new contract at lazio so he would be attainable

The price for Rice will depend on who he wants to join and how many clubs come in from him. I expect Chelsea, City etc to push the price up for him. But we should get him even if it means breaking the bank.

MNS is the likely one as I suspect Bellingham wants Liverpool. But one can dream

I agree with you on Nelson. I don't think he'll make it. Arsenal will need to a specialist right wing forward in the summer.

Assuming, Nelson remains injured this season, who would you play in Saka's absence?

If Rice has his heart set on Arsenal then West Ham will have to settle for £60m which is more than reasonable for a player with just one year left in his contract.

Arsenal could even negotiate this down to perhaps £50m if Rice is super keen.

Arsenal should offer west ham lakonga and Rob holding as well as part of the deal and get the price down even further.

I'd play ESR If saka wasn't available, he proved last season he could get goals and assist.

Very harsh.

The only 3 left wing forwards who are superior to him are Mbappe, Vincius Jnr and Rashford.

Mane, Leao, Kvaratskhelia and Mitoma are better as well. Son has dipped this season but you would still take him over Martinelli.

All of these players have superior technical ability and intelligence. I’m more than happy to see Martinelli get a long-term contract and he is a vital part of the team but let’s call him for what he is: a rich man’s Walcott and a poor man’s Rashford.

He will always be inconsistent and wasteful, but he does have a lot of good qualities which makes him an important player. In the long-term, he will definitely need someone who can push him for a place in the playing XI though.

He is not one of those players who should be or can be untouchable.

Out of all the regular starters (forwards/midfielders) in the team, Martinelli is the most likely to have a stinker or a prolonged period of poor form. He is also the most likely to make mistakes in possession and lose the ball in a dangerous area.

Regardless of how much most Arsenal fans rate him, they cannot say with confidence that he will have a great game.

He is as likely to put in a 2/10 performance in the next game as he is of putting in a 9/10 performance.

I dare and challenge any Arsenal (Martinelli) fans to counter what I said and convince me otherwise.

Interesting team selection today.

Partey back in as expected, Tomiyasu in for White and Vieira in for Xhaka.

Philip Billing's first goal of 2023 has been officially timed at NINE SECONDS. The fastest in Premier League history belongs to Shane Long who scored after 7.69 seconds for Southampton against Watford in April 2019.

What a save from Ramsdale, this is a crazy game.

Could be 2-2

1-0 down at HT, pathetic stuff we can't afford to drop points here and near to be careful we don't let in a 2nd stupid goal

Surely they'll come back in the second half after Arteta gets stuck into them in the dressing room.

Is this the day that the title is heading in the direction of Manchester City.

Looks that way.

Arsenal have woken up.

Whatever Arteta said at half time has worked so far.

God we are relentless. Wave after wave, these Bournemouth defenders are earning their paychecks

Huge win, back to back comebacks with late winners

The more I see things like this the more I'm convinced the title will be going to the Emirates
