Rodrygo is available, more then likely Arsenal will have to shift Martinelli or trossard to bring him in. Personally I'd sell both players.

Trossard has 1 year left on his contract so no point renewing it.

Also how does it become best attack? When it's unproven?

Other then saka, we have a collection of donkeys.

New signing? (Gyokeres) is quality but is unproven in premier league. Hopefully if signed, he will settle on quickly. Would be better option then sesko who is just another timo werner level striker.

Goekeres for sporting and Sweden likes to play with space in behind. Which means Arsenal will have to start moving the ball quicker and get the ball forward to create space.

The Odegaard get the ball slow it down, spin around play it side ways won't help at all.

Chelsea have the worst keeper in league in Sanchez, also their CB options are mediocre. Until that changes they will remain a CL qualifying team rather than title contender

Agreed and I’m pretty sure Martinelli will be sold. I wouldn’t worry about Arsenal struggling to accomplish this because I think the club will get £70m+ from Saudi.

They do have time to rectify the issue, they were looking at Mike Maignan from AC milan. In regards to CB, there aren't to many high quality CB available for sale currently and that's an area I can see Chelsea struggling to improve on.

Sanchez cost Chelsea at least 15 points in PL this season, he's one of worst keepers I've seen in PL history.

Chelsea seem more interested in buying attackers then then defenders or a keeper.

If Gyokeres settles in he will get 30 goals in all competitions this season.

I think he will get between 18-20 PL goals. The one thing he does well is put half chances away.

Bayern were interested in Martinelli and wouldn't be shocked of Liverpool or Villa showed an interest in him. The most I can see Arsenal getting from a PL or European club is 50M. Saudi clubs may offer 70M. Trossard I doubt the club will get much money but move him on.

I think Arsenal need to change way they play and go into a 4-4-1-1 formation which has the flexibility of changing into a 4-4-2 or 4-4-3 during games

Play a back 4 with one of the full backs inverting still to offer extra man in midfield.

Play zubemendi and Rice as a double pivot, pretty much old skool like Vieira + petit or Vieira + edu / Gilberto. One player holds the other gets forward.

You give saka a free role on one wing. You can then play a workman like right winger who likes to get into the box late. If Arsenal actually tried to use the right winger a bit like ljungberg or parlour ud see more benefits

I'd get rid of Odegaard and get a proper number 10 and use them behind Gyokeres. You then have flexibility to move player around. But it gives Arsenal more pace and power.

Sadly Arteta is happy copying Pep and recycling the ball. Arsenal players would be better used in a physical battering ram style that gets the ball forward quicker.

Arsenal just need to play in a braver manner. Last season Arteta set up games not to lose.

The 1st season Arsenal challenged for title they were brave, in the end naivety and managers trust in failing players at pressure end cost Arsenal.

Arsenal do have the best defence in PL, so Arteta needs to trust his defence. If saka, Gyokeres, left winger lose the ball so be it, RIce and Zubimendi should be there to win it back.

This recycling football crap needs to stop. Go out, blow teams away early. Now and then be pragmatic.

Arsenal could have firepower to get closer to trophies. But if team is going to play in cup mode, don't lose and win is a bonus. Then title isn't being won.

In addition, you have Saka who is one of the best RW in the world and the second best in the PL after Salah.

Arsenal should also sign Eze or any other winger who will be a major upgrade on Martinelli. Madueke is one of the best backup wingers you can have.

Furthermore, you have Havertz who was one of the best CF in Europe prior to his injury thanks to his work rate and ability to score crucial goals. He has also bulked up and will be more physically imposing next season.

He was also the top scorer of the 2024/25 Nations League.

You may finally get your long awaited wish with Rodrygo on the LW. I think Arsenal are prepared to pay the fee demanded by Madrid. It's whether the player will join us and whether we can meet his wage demands. He's worth paying £250k per week.

If Arsenal sign Eze but not Rodrygo, this might be a slight problem because Eze doesn't have the blistering pace that Martinelli and Rodrygo can offer on the left hand side. That is one of the reasons why he's better suited as a CAM. Good thing is he's much quicker than Odegaard.

An ideal front four would be Rodrygo, Gyokeres, Saka and Eze.

Rodrygo is a dream signing for me. He is not far off Vini, but he has been severely underutilized on the right at Madrid. However, I think it is a bit of a long shot at the moment.

Eze may not have a lot of pace but he is technically brilliant, makes good decisions on the ball and has awareness of what is happening around him.

Gyokeres is going to benefit so much from having Saka and Eze/Rodrygo feeding him from the flanks instead of Martinelli running into blind alleys.

I say we stick to 4-3-3 with a front four of Rodrygo (LW), Gyokeres (CF), Saka (RW) and Eze (CAM).

I completely agree with this. Saka would get way more goal contributions if he was given a similar role to someone Salah but Arteta uses wingers in a far more defensive manners where he expects them to track back and sit deeper.

If we sign both Eze and Rodrygo, I can see the former either pushing Odegaard to perform with more fire in his belly or to replace him in the starting XI as the CAM for the side.

I think Madrid want to get rid of Rodrygo and I don't think Alonso needs him. It's not far fetched or a pipe dream to see him join Arsenal. The only other clubs who are linked with him who can afford his fee + wages are Bayern and clubs from the Saudi league.

If he doesn't join Arsenal, where do you see him going? I certainly don't see him staying with Madrid.

Bayern have a strong chance especially after the injury to Musiala, who will probably be out for 9-10 months. Liverpool might emerge as a contender as well, they will need to add a wide forward to replace Jota and Diaz who will probably leave soon.

Nonetheless, player preference will play a key role as apart from Saudi, where he definitely won’t go, all potential clubs will be offering him a similar package, and Perez has really good terms with Arsenal.

Comparing Salah and Palmer with Gyokeres shows your zero ball knowledge. They are not strikers.

Yes, Gyokeres is better than Haaland, Isak and Marmoush. The latter two can’t score as much as he does even in their dreams, and Haaland scores at the same rate but he is vastly inferior on the ball.

Haaland doesn’t even look like a footballer outside the box. Gyokeres can dribble, run and pass as well, and is a free kick taker too.

The most lethal striker on the planet. 🤖 🫱🏻🫲🏻

- I'd offer every Saudi club trossard and hope he goes
- Jesus should just get his contract cancelled like Tomiyasu
- Havertz should be sold in next 12 months

There is no need for saka or Gyokeres to track back or defend in this team.

Zubemendi is an old school number 6, it's his and rice's job to win the ball back when Arsenal lose it. If Arsenal are goinv to play safety 1st, recycling boring football it don't matter what attackers we have you won't get best out of them.

Arsenal from 3 need freedom to do as they please. Gey forward, take risks and more goals will come. If eze was signed. He could do a similar role to a ljungberg. Not all wide players need to be fast. Eze has ability to go past players. Also get into box late and score goals.

Arsenal need to focus less on dominating possession and more on getting ball forward quicker in transition and bullying teams physically. Play to strengths of the squad, rather then boring safety 1st football. Everything has to be choreographed and is predictable.

Biggest worry this season again will be midfield. It's not about when your 1st choice midfield is playing. It's about when players like merino, norgaard etc.. Will have to come in. Reality is you take Rice out of the Arsenal midfield our midfield looks very weak and lacks physicality, mobility and creativity.
 
Jesus and Martinelli should be disposed off this summer, but Trossard should stay for at least one more year. He is an excellent squad player.

Bayern have shown interest as have Man city who are trying to sell grealish. I don't think Rodrygo wants to go Saudi

Rodrygo doesn't get as much scrutinity or pressure at Real as viny jnr and mbappe are seen as main forwards. So a change of team for Rodrygo and more freedom will help up, but also the pressure of then been a main star compared to a lesser star at Real.

Yes he's worth wages and price tag, so Arsenal should be trying to get Martinelli and trossard sold so they can bring him in. Such players don't come onto market where essential Arsenal is probably best destination for such a player for once.

It could be abit like when Alex's sanchez left Barca for Arsenal. That sort of impact

Gyokeres has already played in English football. Brighton under 23's, Coventry and Swansea. No PL teams wanted him then but has vastly improved, however I would hold back the Golden boot prediction until he plays 10-15 matches in the PL.

Now that you have pretty much accepted Arsenal will WIN THE PL this season, an apology wont be suffice, you will need to log off permanently. :wenger
