The mediocre assembled attack is not good enough. I have said this numerous times and players in summer Odegaard, trossard, Martinelli, madueke, havertz all need to go. I'd even get rid of merino as well as in his primary role as midfielder he's not good enough.
He needs to improve and go up a level, the grade 3 injury he had last season is something which a lot of players do not come back well from.

Today's defeat, just like league cup final has just exposed how poor Arsenal squad is in midfield and upfront when you take Rice, Zubimendi and saka out, or they have bad games.
It's an awful result. The players on the pitch should be beating Southampton.
Basically once you take Rice and Zubimendi out of the midfield, it's bottom half of the PL standard with the other options, same goes with taking Saka out of the attack.
Awful back heel by Odegaard to for the first goal. Obviously Ben White should have done better but it started from that.

MLS being tried in midfield (his natural position) would have been a better option then norgaard or other 2 dunces that played there. But that won't happen.
