The batting was really subpar today. Everyone struggled and once again it was left to Nawaz to drag us to a respectable total. Despite the scores they have put up recently this batting lineup still looks very vulnerable against quality bowling. Almost all of them are scratchy and I haven’t really seen many fluent knocks recently apart from one by Farhan and couple by Hasan in WI. The only batsman who has looked solid and has bailed Pakistan out a number of times is Nawaz. The bowling seems to be in relatively better shape but it’s yet to come up against quality batting. Hopefully the batting will show up and we will have a good game on Sunday.
