It is a fact that people like Gaurav Arya were the ones who began this line of attack many weeks ago.

Anyway, there is nothing conclusive in this case. The reporter made some allegations. Bajwa has issued a response denying the allegations. Now it’s up to the reporter/media to take this further.

Reading through all discussions in this thread and keeping in mind the point of view of various members in this group, I can see some sort of deviation from their earlier stance.

Basically, there are 2 opinions about the whole episode:

1. One of them are pre government who are doing everything to defend Asim Bajwa. Their earlier stance was strict action on corruption accusations and even some called for Chinese model. They were not willing to give benefit of doubt to Justice Isa's wife and wanted a full money trail then while they do not demand the same in this case. In my opinion, this is a clear deviation from their earlier stances as they had always strong disliking for anyone associated with corruption charges.

2. The 2nd group is demanding for a money trail and clearly enjoying the moment. As per their earlier stance, corruption in 3rd world is acceptable as long there is some performance shown. In my opinion, Asim Bajwa case fit that (hypothetically assuming the corruption charges are true) because he served the position of DG ISPR with competence and doing a good job as CPEC chairman.

During his tenure as DG ISPR, he looked sincere & honest with the job assigned to him. Also, I believe, he must be managing CPEC projects pretty well and so personally I have no questions over his competence.

However, it was a great opportunity for IK asking ASB to offer himself for the accountability to shut the critics mouth. But I believe we have to live with it given the circumstances.

I see the whole episode is a positive development in the progress of Pakistan. Slowly, sacred cows of the country will be questioned and I think it is going to be a matter of time. Social media, albeit toxic at times, has played a great role in that.

Reading through all discussions in this thread and keeping in mind the point of view of various members in this group, I can see some sort of deviation from their earlier stance.

Basically, there are 2 opinions about the whole episode:

1. One of them are pre government who are doing everything to defend Asim Bajwa. Their earlier stance was strict action on corruption accusations and even some called for Chinese model. They were not willing to give benefit of doubt to Justice Isa's wife and wanted a full money trail then while they do not demand the same in this case. In my opinion, this is a clear deviation from their earlier stances as they had always strong disliking for anyone associated with corruption charges.

2. The 2nd group is demanding for a money trail and clearly enjoying the moment. As per their earlier stance, corruption in 3rd world is acceptable as long there is some performance shown. In my opinion, Asim Bajwa case fit that (hypothetically assuming the corruption charges are true) because he served the position of DG ISPR with competence and doing a good job as CPEC chairman.

During his tenure as DG ISPR, he looked sincere & honest with the job assigned to him. Also, I believe, he must be managing CPEC projects pretty well and so personally I have no questions over his competence.

However, it was a great opportunity for IK asking ASB to offer himself for the accountability to shut the critics mouth. But I believe we have to live with it given the circumstances.

I see the whole episode is a positive development in the progress of Pakistan. Slowly, sacred cows of the country will be questioned and I think it is going to be a matter of time. Social media, albeit toxic at times, has played a great role in that.

Issue is why did the documents have to get leaked for him to come under the rader.

Look, even if never had foreign businesses, his files which says nil nil nil nil was a give away. Alittle snooping around and it wasnt that hard.

Now this where shebaz shareef, bilalwal and nawaz should unite. One of them needs to show leadership as opposition and put pressure on NAB.

Isa is the equivalent of IK, both have huge amount of power. IK gave is money trail, Isa didnt and still doesnt want and he has used the same tactics, word for word as NS, What does that tell you about this judge.
