Dont act like an idiot. Clearly not out
There was a clear spike when ball passed the bat. Not sure what few of the Pakistani posters are watching here.
With losing only one wicket... Not a bad start though... Considering the some disciplined bowling of Australia
It was a poor shot choice
Fawad, Azhar, Hasan and Sajad should never play test cricket for Pakistan.
Kamran, Saud, Arshid Iqbal and Nawaz should replace these useless players.
They always play for their spot.pathetic mentality.Imam secured his place for next test
For the decision to be overturned there has to be conclusive evidence which in this case clearly didn't exist. I am sure u would be arguing for the same if this was an indian. Look at Azhar's reaction it may help

Lol Test is the only format where Hasan is somewhat rated and you want him gone from there too?
Where does he go then? Away from International cricket alltogether?

That decision of out against Azhar Ali IMO was not the correct call.
The on-field umpire gave it not out, there was not enough definitive proof to overturn that decision.
Extremely fazul umpiring.
Technology exists to help umpires correct errors rather than make a new decision. In the case of Azhar if we are looking for substantial evidence to overturn the onfield umpire call then it didn't existed similarly if umpire had it out it would have stayed out.
This is the first (and hopefully only) time ever that I wanted Pakistan to lose a match, unfortunately.
The reason is that, if they win or even draw this one, and save the series, this means all the fear, problems, of the Pakistan Cricket that has been exposed will be forgotten, especially Ramiz Raja, (all big talk, but no knowledge of Pitches, and scared of Australia himself).
There was a clear edge there. If you see the replay in slow motion, there is a deviation once the ball passes the bat. Also the spike in snicko is convincing, the wave before the ball reached the bat was a little low, once the ball was next to the bat the wave spiked a little more which means there was a faint nick for sure. It was a right decision, it was OUT.
That is my personal opinion. You can differ.
The spike needs to be bigger for it be overturned. Idea is there can be other causes for such tiny spikes. I've seen such decisions going in favor of batsmen in the past but seems Pakistanis are currently operating in 'hospitality' mode
Incorrect, the umpire did not make a decision, he turned the decision over to the third umpire.
What? How did he the umpire do that? Are you telling me that umpire did not gave it "not out"?
Watching the vid I thought the umpire went upstairs straight away, but it looks like Cummins did call the DRS.
Thank you PCB for this experience. The most pointless month of Test cricket ever.

It was conclusive because there was a spike. If there was no spike I would not have said out.. indian or not indian. From indian perspective i want match to be drawn.. which had more chances if Azhar continued so that is that.
The argument of conclusive evidence is debatable because what umpire makes of the evidences produced can vary from umpire to umpire.
So yes, umpire can simply rule out saying not conclusive OR some umpire may take the decision to overturn on-field decision. Can go either way and this time it went Aussies way.
My personal opinion is correct decision was made because Smith was very confident in real time and pushed Cummins to take DRS.
Plus clear deflection after ball passed the bat.
Pakistan fans are fine with it.
Smith confident? He's a proven cheat did it on a number of occasions, dont go by his reactions. Look st azhar ali how disappointed he was

It is ridiculous to suggest that the evidence wasn’t conclusive.
The ball is CLEARLY in contact with the bat - you don’t even need ultra edge to confirm. 100% out.

Ur opinion really holds no value believe me with 95% of posters here
Cheat, okay can be understood by his past. But stupid enough to burn another review. Don't think so.
And the opinion of Pakistani fans means nothing to me because they are the most delusional fans in the world who don’t know the first thing about cricket.
No...it wasn't
There were some spikes even before ball reached the bat
Stop moaning on everything. Irrespective of the results, this was a historical series for PCB as well as for whole Pakistan. Those who love their nation truly would know it.
:As a doctor is that heart still beating sufficiently? Our fans are always crying - they will reject all evidence just so that they can live in denial and pretend that Pakistan were unlucky to lose.
