The reason is that, if they win or even draw this one, and save the series, this means all the fear, problems, of the Pakistan Cricket that has been exposed will be forgotten, especially Ramiz Raja, (all big talk, but no knowledge of Pitches, and scared of Australia himself).

Lyon looks like a spent force on day 5. his brand of overspin and reliance on bounce did'nt work against us in 2020-21 and defo is not the way forward in subcontental pitches. Swepson and Green are average and should be taken full toll of.

Indian batting is at a different level , they were looking to win from ball one. For Pakistan batting to chase this here is not possible , it will take a big effort , I do not think they are mentally prepared for that or have that range of shots.
