Australia comfortably placed on 346/5 at end of Day 1 of the 1st Test against Pakistan

Ball talking, tight bowling, nicks extracted and yet Australia 20/0 after 4 overs.
 
Shaheen needs to stop bowling the full delivery and just stick to back of the length 4th stump
 
Brainless Shaheen as usual. Always going fuller length, there is never any discipline in his bowling.
 
Shaheen's trajectory is low for such a tall fast bowler. Not the hit the deck action required.
 
Khurram needs to go around the wicket and stick to similar length. Should be a tester for warner
 
I think Warner has seen enough of this new bowler. He is coming down the wicket as he is only a medium pacer.
 
First 30 mins / 1 hour is crucial.
Pakistan need a few wickets while the ball is talking to stay on top of the game
 
We've bowled well, generated a couple chances, but not well enough
 
I think SHaheen is reduced to 4 over bowler. Can't land the ball with any degree of consistency.
 
Shaheen has been playing on reputation for a while now
 
Shaheen's wayward bowling has ruined the pressure Khurram was building from the other end. A consistent line and length could have built enough pressure to take a wicket or two.

Shaheen needs a break from the game. Anyone who has followed his career at least since 2021 knows that the injury pre 2022 t20 WC was very serious and PCB botched his recovery that he needed to get surgery himself.

Then they let him limp around for 4 overs a game in the t20 WC. No breaks, no rehab, nothing.

They are running him into the ground before our eyes.

ofc he’s going to get carted to all parts at half fitness.

You can see he’s still holding back when he bowls
 
Getting out bowled by a debutant is crazy lmao. This is gonna be a long tour.
 
Shaheen bowling like a club cricketer this morning. You just need to stick to outside off. Very disappointed.

Pakistan better watch out here . If you let Aus off in the first session at Perth , it’s going to be agony for the rest of the Test
 
This guy has a bit of seam movement. If he has about 5k faster he will pose some problems. Khawaja is well outside the crease facing Shazhad.

This isn’t a fitness issue. He’s been carted around on nearly every overseas test tour we’ve had outside of the Caribbean, BD and SL

Too many excuses for Shaheen, even before his injury his record against the Top teams was nothing to write home about. Take out his performances against Sri Lanka, West Indies, Zimbabwe, Bangladesh out, his stats will not look pretty.
 
I think they keep dowing the wicket agianst him. His pace is not worrying them. You will see more of this from Travis head as well.

Warner 100 in a session is on against this club level bowling attack. He probably faces stiffer competition in domestic.
 
Warner has to be the luckiest player against Pakistan. I have seen him over the years in various formats and for some reason, his fluky edges either evade the fielders, dropped or are caught off no balls.
 
Go back to basics. This is the test match right here.

Bowl to outside off stump. Aim for 6 balls on the same spot. Forget about wickets and in swing / out swing.
 
Just bowl tight rather than bowling hit me balls. Wickets will come.
 
Bowling a better line now, but wasted new ball so far.
 
Warner should try to break Lara's record. He will not find parchi bowlers and mis-fielding by any top team
 
Afridi just need to keep bowling there rather than trying magic balls.
 
Sarfraz is a lot quieter than usual. He was louder even in the match vs PMXI. Wonder what happened
 
How Fahim and Imam keep getting selected without any performance. Must have very strong back up. Selectors come and go but these parchis stay
 
Erratic bowling is the best friend of batsman like Warner as he severely punshes bad balls. Pakistan in quest of wickets tend to bowl erratically and get punished.

I think our bowlers have lack of ability to perform against top batsmen.
 
If Aus plays like this for another 25 overs, game will be done. Not sure why can't bowl in tight channel and let batsmen take risk.
 
Ball has to hit the deck and whiz past the batsman. You should not allow them to walk down the wicket. Even Khawaja is walking down the wicket to Shaheen.
 
We will not survive 80 overs in 2 innings combined in this pitch. The difference of quality between us and Australia is huge. Even any local Australia team can beat this parchi team

Don't allow them to walk down to hit.
 
Is Shaheen fast bowler or medium pacer? His bowling is way to slow. He shouldn't play test if not fit
