After the year he had, no way you can leave out a fully fit Hassan from a test match
 
No matter what the conditions/pitch/situation.. The intent from Australians is always positive and try to win as many sessions in Test matches. Same in T20I and ODIs. Very positive approach.
No wonder they have won so much in cricket.
 
This pitch has something for both pacers and spinners. Our pacers, apart from Shaheen, have been poor.

Chittar on the cards for this test. Australia won't snail along at 2rpo. Hassan and Faheem being drafted into the team as heroes has actually made the team look weaker, that's an 'only in Pakistan' lulz moment.
 
To many release pressure balls an over. poor bowling here. need 2 wickets badly here.
 
Let's hope this turns out to be another road otherwise a definite loss is on the cards

Fahim such a useless player. He is neither a proper bowler nor a batsman.
 
That's why Australia is a world beater. They play well in any pitch unlike our batsmen play well in flat pitches.

Hasan Ali is having the highest economy rate amongst the bowlers..(6.25). I think his time is over...as can be seen from his form at T20 WC
 
Watching Sajid Khan bowl for the first time, he seems ok but not sure if he is good enough to be an international bowler. He is skiddy and with his action wouldn't generate a lot of bounce or turn I would think. Am surprised there aren't better off spinning options available in Pakistan,

He even said , Naseem should have played ahead of Hasan ali, because Hasan hasnt played enough cricket and was injured in PSL..

Naseem on the other hand has no experience in FC, he and Misbah are so stubborn that their choices are heavenly and should be backed endless times, no matter how many loses and poor performances....

he is always good with the old ball, not a new ball bowler to start with.. Both Faheem and Hasan are good with the old ball.. Sameen Gul should be added to the pace line up to pair with Shaheen

Especially in SENA tests following line up would be a lethal attack..

Karachi stadium looks good to me,nice seats and good covers on top. I cannot see why so many negatives comments about it. This session is level I say, quitegoodcaptaincyby Babar so far, Aussies have solid top 3. One more wicket will boost Pakistani bowlers.
 
Smith is not the same player that he used to be.
Khawajas wicket is important once his wicket falls it will be like pack of cards.
 
Pakistan is killing test cricket with pitches like these. This is not okay.
 
This is a test for Shaheen he is yet to produce the match winning spells against the best teams his record is built on wickets against Bangladesh Zimbabwe and West Indies.
 
If Australia are batting by lunch tomorrow then 400 will be scored a long way back for Pakistan from there a tricky last day chase will be on.

The first match draw will have helped Australia to get into the series.

..nobody saying how ineffective shaheen and hasan looked yet knives were out for naseem
 
Shaheen needs a perfomnce against a big 4 in test cricket to justify the hype
 
I remember Mamoon saying something along the lines of Shoaib Akhtar is a nobody in comparison to Shaheen in Test cricket
 
Australia batting first is good for a result they will score at a good rate.

Pakistan don’t look like challenging for the top 3 spots anytime soon a long way to go first we need to show similar aggression with the bat.

Not happening unless a few batsmen are selected who can score quickly.
 
Will be hard to contain the Aussies below 400. Even if Pakistan bowl well, you can expect their batters to get 30-40 each on average and push the score up.

The two current finger spinners playing for us are net practice bowlers at best.
 
Ashwin and Jadeja will win you Test match on this surface.

Our spinners are not good enough.
 
Wicket isn't dead as compare with Pindi pitch.... Bowl already spin and taking some swing
 
Wicket taking turn Sajid bowling like a part timer not good enough Australia taking charge of this test not good enough from a home team.
