Whenever we tour Australia and humiliated. We said about tour after 4 years, we also said about little time before 1st match, we said about practice match against poor team. And look Australia come here after 20+ years and they are looking far stronger and positive than us. Only Shaheen is international standard bowler all other Pakistani bowlers ( international, domestic, club and u19) are poor and mediocre.

Criminal that Shadab Khan hasn't played a FC match in 18 months. The guy should be getting prepped/be ready now for Tests.

Awful from everyone neutralising any home advantage putting Australia in a dominant position by letting them draw the first welcome to minnow mentality Pakistan another decade of mediocrity awaits.
 
Generous of Sajid to give Khawaja 2 balls down the leg to get the final 2 easy singles!

We are happy with few t20 wins in UAE. Otherwise we are mediocre.
 
What is Sajid doing?

Who is feeding these plans to him? He’s not even trying
 
Even Sajid bowling negative line. So it is the plan of pakistan management.
Saqlain was such an aggressive spinner. What's happening ?

Shadab is a mediocre spinner.
He is capable with the bat though.

Wow they are bowling too wide at the moment. So they just want to take wicket based on boring batters instead of bowling aggressive lines.
 
Pakistani bowlers are not just boring the batters they are boring the viewers with these negative lines.
 
The umpires are having a chat with Babar and probably giving Pakistan a warning for bowling these negative lines

Can anyone please explain what's Saqlain's responsibilities as a coach? Our spinners are not improving at all. He is as bad as Waqar. Has big mouth and does nothing.
 
I am guessing the hardness and flatness of wickets in Pakistan is probably the reason why in 90s Pakistan produced some green wickets so that result could happen.

And that is also the reason why they don't have such dominating record at home even when they had the best of their players.

Saqlain is not a coaching material. few fluke wins here and there and he became head coach out of no where. This guy is just a yes man and don't select final 11 based on pitch or players form. His silence with out of form Hasan instead of Nawaz cost us T20 semi.

Luckily for you, this mentality has almost instantly ruled out any chance of Pakistan victory. Dead game once again.

No Dominating record at home ?
Seriously.

Pakistan only lost 4 home test series in 45 years
1959,1961,1969,1980

During that period India lost so so many home Test series.
Even Australia has lost so so many home test series in last 35 years.
1993.2008,2010,2012,2016,2018,2020

India from 1986-87 onwards have been dominant at home, they lost in 87,2000,2004,2012 in last 35 years at home.

Pakistan used to be the toughest place to win for away sides. 1959/61 series loss were mainly due to old guard being past their best.
 
Babar might as well have given up on day 1,
with the way we are bowling. Spinners are on when the ball is reversing. Disgraceful stuff.
 
Exactly what are our plans here other than bowling a negative line ? So much emphasis on hosting Australia, it seems we forgot to prepare for the actual cricket.

- Didn't appoint a head coach and bowling coach until a few days before the series.

- Bowling coach doesn't show up until this week.

- Only 4 days gap after end of PSL where Shaheen worked himself into the ground and others got injured.

- No side match before the first Test.

- Lifeless pitches

An amateurish attitude to Test cricket.
 
worse captaincy at home since moin khan. pathetic stuff.
 
Awful series from an entertainment perspective so far.

There'll be some kids watching Test cricket for the first time and thinking what's all the fuss about.

Really need to stop blaming the coach and realise that these are the two best spinners in the country at the moment. No else as put their hand up in domestics, Yasir and Nawaz are injured and Shadab doesn't seem to have any drive to play test match cricket.

A foreign coach will not make any difference.

Saqi bhai has a fat belly to look after first. It's not his fault the PCB went desperate for his services.

There is nothing on the pitch on day 1 but with time it will deteriote. Babar's strategy is to down runrate because if new ball worked or if the day 2 pitch deteriote than there should be less runs on the board for Australia.
This is simple thinking, people complain for everything
Pakistan prepared flat road people trolled them
India prepared pitch which deteriotes after 6th over people troll them.
Its just we are used to t20 nothing else.
Have some mercy.
 
Pakistan have shown to much respect to this Australian team. Certainly is no where near compararable to the Great Australian teams of recent years. The wickets so far have been awful and to top it off Babar is arguably one of the worse captains I've seen in recent times.
 
Pakistan have only come with the intention to draw this series by preparing pattas and bowling negative line. Face saving exercise.

I'm really in disbelief that Babar did not give Hassan and Shaheen at least a small spell before this new ball to try some reverse. Shaheen was literally getting great swing just before Tea, yet hasn't bowled a single over since!

Now Babar himself is bowling, as if his spin will be any less ineffectual than the combined 43 wicket-less overs of Sajid and Nauman. This is pathetic.

Seems lots of new ideas being applied.
 
Babar's captaincy has been exposed in these two test matches.

You don't bowl your main bowler Hassan Ali who rattled South African team with his reverse swings not long ago.
 
I think we will try to draw in ODi and T20 as well. That's what happen when you have a desi coach who is yes man and knows nothing about coaching.
 
Ind vs SRL is going good, many things happening with rank turners there..

Pak vs Aus - slow pitch , spinners bowling negative lines, reverse swing was on offer but pacers are brought into play.. Khawaja and Smith are not bored facing awful negative lines, just happy out there..

Pak playing for a draw from Day 1 lol :jk
 
Babar has a minnow mentality with his captaincy and the slow and steady batsmen he selects ordinary stuff watch this team in SENA playing like minnows.

Babar, Imam, Azhar , Hasan , Faheem all seems to have some sort of little pot bellies..

They are scoring at below 3 an over on a flat and slow wicket with no assistance to either pace or spin. Pakistan was blasted by ridiculous fans as yourself for doing basically the same thing in the first game, and here you insecure Pakistanis who embarass our nation just cannot hide your glee when Australia do the same?

The double standards are pathetic. It’s as flat a wicket as Pindi, and the only difference might be that it breaks a bit more from day 4 onwards. However, the slow nature of the track will negate that issue aswell.
