Australia reach Stumps on Day 3 at 81/1, a lead of 489 in the 2nd Test vs Pakistan

ha ha ha.. lol. I knew an in-swinger would come. Poor Fawad Alam had no chance with ugly stance and really poor technique i must say. He was all over it.
 
This is why I was so critical of Shaheen on the first day. When the ball was reversing, he was bowling at 133kph. You're not going to get anybody out at 133kph. Look at Starc bowling at 145+ when it's reversing. He's unplayable right now.

Starc is more fitter and stronger than Shaheen. Built for a long game. That helps a lot.

starc either gets thrashed or he becomes unplayable. there is no in between

Fawad awful ugly batsman is very pathetic player.He is just like that Asad Shafiq.He only scores once in a series in a dead rubber

No chance of Pakistan surviving this Test match. Serves them right of being total cowards.
 
Wahab was Excellent with reverse swing.Pakistan missed younger version of Wahab on this track.
 
We could witness this reverse swing when Shaheen was bowling before the 2nd new ball and Babar just let spinners bowl out rest of the overs with the old ball when it was evident from South Africa's series that how lethal Hassan Ali is with reverse swing.
 
i hope babar lose his captaincy after this series as he is not made for captaincy. Mohammad rizwan should take up captaincy and babar shuld focus on his batting

This pitch has nothing, just a slight bit of reverse and our batsmen are dancing around like its a green top in England.

Abdullah, Imam and Azhar - all three wickets thrown away to poor judgment.

Fawad’s dismissal had nothing to do with the conditions - he would have got out on a cement track to this Starc thunderbolt.

Calm down.. that was a good ball and could have gotten out even greater batsmen
 
This was expected. It was a bad toss to lose but people were moaning about the flatness of wicket. We cant handle the pressure its simple. Starc and cummins can only bowl 3 to 4 overs spell so one must use common sense.
 
Only Faheem then the tail to come long day ahead avoiding follow on looks a long way away at the moment.

we wont get anywhere near 350. Aussies will bat again and the declare and we will have to bat to save the game.

what is Rizwan doing just play the seamers out...even Babz looks scared..one drop catch ..awfull umpire decision. Rizwan looks like getting out any time amazing technique these boys have i must say.

All the soft runs in the 1st test on the rawalpindi highway had just papered over the cracks of our inept batting.
 
Even after victories in 2014 and 2018, Pakistan just cannot rid themselves of the mental block against Australia.

Negative tactics have backfired. If we made a turner from Day 1, at least our attack could've taken advantage.
 
Most likely the match will be finish either tomorrow or before lunch on 5th day. We will loose by innings. Our bowlers are really minnow level.

Our batsmen are not equipped to play against Cummins and Starc when the ball is reversing this much. It's men against boys.
 
Rizwan knows to play one way and that is back to the leg side
 
Australia got their selection totally wrong by playing with 2 spinners yet will walk away with either an innings victory or a 400 run victory.
 
Even Green is far better than Shaheen and Hasan Ali, let alone Starc, Hazzle and Cummins.
 
Time for Babar to stand up and be counted amongst the giants. This is his chance.

He just can't afford to waste these moments if he really wants a slot at the top.
 
Congratulations to Australia for winning in Pak.

Aussies is one team that has always dominated pak over the years consistently
 
Rizwan was laid bare and his technique exposed there. No footwork! He should focus on the game first. Has been in the news for other reasons of late.

You can bowl 4 overs at those speeds but to do it consistently in a Test match you need to give up Biriyanis and be more fit and strong.
 
Imam will continue to fail in pressure situations against good bowling lineups. He isn't a test player.
 
Follow on possible by the end of the day Pakistan are worse than Sri Lanka and Windies 8th ranked team.

Rank turners would have backfired as well. We let Australia score 500 here. It was reversing on day 1 as well. On a rank turner we would have capitulating against Lyon. Should have just been the wickets we have had so far against SA (who have a great pace attack too), SL and BD.

Babar took off Shaheen and Hassan, when it started to reverse and waited for the new ball which he gave to Faheem. There was no coming back from that.
 
You know what is sad..it was very obvious with all those pitches on square the bowl would reverse for sure but didnt expect them to reverse so early. As i say king faheem goes..

Sums up the myth that we struggle in Australia only. It is not the aussie conditions but Australia team itself. No wonder we lost the plot in WC Semi Finals last year
 
Collapsing against reverse like a pack of cards. I think most of the players have already resigned to being out before they even get to the crease. In their minds they think they just can't play.

[MENTION=53290]Markhor[/MENTION] I hope you’ll now understand how vital Misbah was to our successes, particularly in the premier Test format.

We could’ve been quite competitive in this Test series as well had Misbah been involved in some capacity. Perhaps the coach or PCB chairman.

For now he’s the best brains we’ve got to run our cricket.

This is exactly how the match would go in Australia on bouncier wickets only it’s in Pakistan.
