Lol England will maul PK. England will win wtc 2027, 100%. Their essentially 2000's india. Rubbish bowling lineup but their batting will ensure a draw or a win. Can't outbat them unless its asia or Australia

This has been great captaincy by Chase in terms of rotating the bowlers. When you have 3 premier pacers. You should rotate them frequently from only one end so that only they bowl the initial 20 overs with the new ball.
 
Head should score a century today. Now that Indians on this forumn have learned to shut up.

Bit of a recovery from Australia. Backup bowlers like Greaves, Warrican and Chase need to do their bit.

You overrate sajid and noman too much. They are pitch doctoring bullies and were the perfect case for exposing jadeja and Ashwin.

But they are not legends. Sajid got mauled in Australia just like ashwin did. Pcb is an incompetent board but they aren't that stupid.

No board just drops a guy who takes 3 10 wicket hauls in back to back tests while bunrah cant even take 1 for the life of him.

If their dropping em, its clear they themsleves know that they'd get brutlaly exposed overseas.

Ya fair enough bro i might be rating them too highly ya they are pitches oriented bowlers in england if pitches are not dry they Will go for plenty bit like jadeja and ashwin i guess but i still feel noman is an intelligent bowlers who know how to varry his pace.
 
A bang average batsman like Inglis playing #4 for Australia in Test cricket. Australia’s FC cricket gets praised a lot but they seem to be down to the bare bones when it comes to batsmen.

Green at #3, Inglis at #4. A very alarming situation.

I dont think their bad bowlers. I think they should play all tests for Pakistan and be automatic starters.

But their not the 2nd coming of warne and murli lol.

Their batting is pretty weak, barring head and the lower order. Their bowlers have been digging them out of losses quite frequently ever since the ashes. Not as strong a team as they've been made out to be.
Starc,Hazlewood,Lyon are all nearing retirement age, as are Khawaja and Smith. The transition period is going to hit Aus hard,

England should be disappointed if they dont win the ashes this year.

Inglis is pretty good. Scored a brilliant 120* against England in CT 2025.

Khawaja actually plays like a Chad against rubbish bowling. Owned Sri Lanka too.

He has loat his ability to play on seam pitches or bounce pitches. Just doesnt have the quick reactions anymore.

Otherwise hes a solid player of spin and can bash the old ball.

I don’t see England winning with their current bowling attack. These same Australian batsmen will handle them comfortably. England’s best chance is to somehow get both Wood & Archer fit.

He is decent in white ball cricket, but he averages in the 30s in FC and is already 30+. He is not a top-tier Test batsman.

Australia should not be looking to pick these mid 30s averaging batsmen in Test cricket.

There is potential for Pakistan to come back into the top tier of Test cricket again mainly due to decline of Australia and India.

There are hardly any top performers for Australia in domestic cricket in the top of the order. Their best bet is to hope that Sam Konstas turns into something of a Hayden or Warner. And god forbid if they try the Hack Mcgurk in Test cricket.

Not really. First of all Pak's bowling is god awful. Their pace attack is top 3 worst atm.

Secondly their batting lineup is that of the 70's that viv Richards would make fun of.

Abdullah, Imam, Babar, Rizwan, Saud.

This is an outdated test lineup. Agha is the only batter whos a genuine modern day test bat at no 6/7.

Even though people have issues with rizwan, he isnt bad in test cricket and is a solid no 6 who plays aggressively ( Ironic since he cant play aggressively in odi and t20 😖)Issue is the batting is out of order.

Agha should be 6 and rizzu no 7. Saud should be at 4. He's slow but is our best test batters who can grind and every team needs a root.

But we have no aggressive player like Brooks or Travis which is essential for victory in modern test era.

Our openers are bunnies with all hopes resting on if saim ayub can turn it around in test cricket.

Babar is a tragedy and KG isnt a miracle worker either.
 
Head is a solid batsmen, being weak against doesnt mean we shouldn't appreciate the impact matche knocks that he has played.

He cemented his legacy alongside gilly and ponting in wc 2023 alone. No rubbish agenda can change that.

Not an ATG cricketer but better then a majority of overhyped rubbish indian batters over the years.
 
As an all format batsmen, Head is > everyone single indian player minus Kohli who is > him.

Rohit is far worse then Head in test. He is better then head in odi and t20 however impact wise Head has remained > him in odi. At the end of rohit's career due to a massive decline, the gap isnt all that high anymore.

Every other indian player has been an absolute tragedy in 2 formats bare minimum.

Head is easily > Dhawan, Raina, Yuvi(all formats, yuvi is better in certain formats though), Dhoni (much better then Dhoni in t20 and test) etc etc.

Utterly delusional to think someone like sai will have a better career then Head 🤣.

All format players need a different criteria from test specialists. Very ironic how agenda posters apply such metrics to Laxman and Pant but not to Head.

Name one all format batter in history who was equally good in all formats?

If Head avg 40 in both test and odi, is a solid htb in test, has impact knocks in odi especially in icc events and a freak strike rate in t20, then he is up their as a goat.

Warner, Ab, Kohli, Kp and Gayle are the only all format players > him.

Shame on agends Indian fans. No wonder they all ran away like chicken. And irony of the century they mocked me for being biased despite being indian :vk2 .


Brutal honestly truth is that despite a 1.4B mafia, and all formats existing for 18+ years now, you lot still cant find anyone minus Kohli that is > this so called technique less Head as an all format player.

But bro pak really wont reauired pace bowlers at home anymore spinnner will do the job against sena teams as long likes of saud agha who are good players of spin do their job pak should be fine at home its outside aisa where they need to tinker their bowling

Not that cut and dry. They ground England into dust in 2022 on some flat, slow pitches and with a horrible batch of Dukes.

And they did win at the Gabba playing some scrappy cricket.
