Yawnfest in Adelaide I guess.

5 day draw...

Depends how England respond.
They should have no problems but if Australia bat for the better part of two days who knows.

The media reports and recent statements from the ECB give the impression that the team isn't in an optimal state of mind for test cricket.

Probably the only chance of a result otherwise a boring draw.

Anybody have an audio link that I can listen to on my iPhone ?

Test Match Sofa is the only one I can find - though I can't stand the 'commentators' so I turned it off.
Can you not use bbc tms (test match special). I believe it's available all around the world now.

The Aussies looking set to score 500+ and a draw is most likely.

Hopefully we see some fireworks now. A platform has been set, the pitch is flat and the bowling is docile. Perfect stage for Clarke to destroy the English bowling.

Two quick wickets of the set batsmens. If they can get Clarke early might be game on. But pitch seems too flat Australia will get over 400 unless Clarke goes early.

England are right back in it.

MJ Clake will probably look to counter attack what means there is a chance for Englad to take the big wicket early.

Clarke cant score runs in Australia forever. He is due a bad match. Australia will do well to get to 350 from here.
Which would still be a disappointing total after a dominant start

I love how you blokes make predictions after session and a half of a five day Test match. At least see how England bat and OZ bowl first.

Another wicket, Smiffy showing why I have no confidence in him. NZ type Bits and pieces player.

I'm usually the same but most decent teams should be able to take advantage of these conditions.

Maybe you guys could learn a thing or two on how to bat on flat wickets from some minnows.

That's tea 3-174. Mini collapse started by Twatto, 3-19 since he was dismissed. 350 might be a good score for this batting lineup.

To be fair, its been a mixture of good balls and good fielding that has brought about the wickets. Only Watson gifted his wicket.

I'm sure we could post 600 against the Windian Holding/Garner/Roberts attack too :nehra

Mini collapse started by Twatto,

Just copy and paste that for every second test we play.

Looking like back to back ashes collapses on a dead adelaide track, england must be delirious with joy that we serve up a slow pitch that will turn and then bat like this on it after winning the toss.

Said at the toss going with two spinners was a very good selection. England on top.

Teas done. Wonder if Bailey will pulverise Swann like they said he would lol. This is the time for George Bailey to show his worth. Australia under a bit of pressure, skipper at the other end, time for someone to stand up.

Wow impressive team selection by England spin twins going the :misbah way and looks like it has worked so far

If Australia get anything around 400 it will be a draw or a Australian win. Don't see England winning this test match unless they can get Australia out for around 300 and get a big innings lead which is unlikely as their battings been poor for a while.

England need to get Clarke, once he's set he tends to go big.

Australia still in this big time as long as they dont collapse this wicket isnt that flat there is already turn and a teeny weeny bit of sideways movement. Australia still has Clarke and their dependable lower order. They also have the attack with Harris and Lyon to exploit the turn in the pitch. If Australia score around 400 its game on.

I think Aussies should get more than 350 here easily. More than that is also possible, all will depend upon how Poms bowl.

Bailey and Twatto knocks typify the type of batam we have in this side really. Players who can score the odd 50 but can't really go on and convert that into a big score.

On another note there's some decent bounce that Bambi is getting eh.
