Barring bad weather, the final day of the test.

Australia should win from here. First hour crucial.

England need at least 2 wickets in the first hour. I'm heavily excited. Now imagine if the ashes was still on the line, I'd have been ready to explode.

And to rub salt into the wound it went for four....

Followed by another four. England you absolute shambles!!

Oh dear.

Bairstow watches a catch go begging between him and Cook at 1st Slip.

Surprised they opted for Bairstow with the gloves over Prior in this match.

If England don't take some wickets or at least stop the scoring rate this is going to be over quick.

And now one falls short of cook at slip.

Just leave the field and go home now. Next plane please.

If England get whitewashed it would be at the hands of one of the weakest Aussie team in Ashes history

WOW!!! 90s Pakistani style catching by England. Could have had 2 easy wickets and made a game of this. Pathetic fielding by them, their brains really are scrambbled.

Wicket at last for England, another easy Watson wicket up for grabs for England now

Stokes gets Warner, caught by Bairstow.

Funny whenever Stokes takes a wkt the no-ball is checked for as a matter of course before the commentators acknowledge the wkt.

Root bowling before Monty, offie against the leftys?

Isn't going to do Monty's confidence any favours.

At this rate Monty won't get a bowl. If there waiting for reverse I can't see him getting many overs when the ball starts to reverse.

For the Sydney test I would:

Drop Root, move Bell to no 3 and bring Ballance in the middle order.

I would have stuck with Prior in this test but now that they have made the change, its a bit harsh on the lad to drop him again after one test.

Bresnan what a trundler now, surely Monty is the ideal foil to keep it tight on one end while Anderson works out the batsmen at the other end

All those footmarks should definitely keep Monty in yhe game, even Root managed to skid some low off the footmarks

No reverse on offer, jelly beans still isn't working for England eh

Not bowling Monty is a joke. England and in particular cook are self imploding on this trip.

And lol at Monty practicing his batting, maybe sending a message to cook, if I'm not here to bowl May as well try to bat.

Easy runs for Aussies from Root, unexplainable Captaincy really

England bowling lacks The x factor ala Johnson, all to samey, plus cooks captaincy
Really is poor, i guess warne was right

Monty taken to the cleaners, match over for England, bring on the whitewash

Monty came on way too late, batsmen were set. He should've came on as soon as Warner got out... c'mon now Cook!

Cook has one slip. Trying to save some runs here.

Well played rogers!

24 hours ago England had a 100+ lead and 10 wickets in hand :moyo

Cook and Watson advancing and smashing trundling Bresnan to the boundary :))

Cook, time to bowl yourself and Carberry in tandem.
As if there aren't enough mere formalities out there right now. :P

Lol Cook sucks as captain. You know Michael Vaughan was not happy.

This was the best chance for England to win as Australia might have been a bit complacent after winning the Ashes. Now that there's a chance for whitewash, Australia will go at them full throttle and England will crumble without a fight.

If England get whitewashed it would be at the hands of one of the weakest Aussie team in Ashes history

Clearly you never saw our team in the mid 80s. Our batting is very ordinary, the bowling attack is decent though.

Of all the Tests this is the one that will hurt England the most, and the one that the OZ will probably find most satisfying. They were put under the pump a number of times in this match and responded well. After Day 2 nobody would have given us a chance to win this but they were able to turn it around.

Not sure what's happened to England. Look a total shambles. Body language is poor, morale is low, look like they can't wait to get on the next plane home.

Stunning innings from rogers, just didn't think he had that sort of innings in him and he does it on the most difficult pitch of the series.
