With Starcs injury Aussies are going to have bat big on 1st inns, they dont want a 2nd inns shoot out with 1 bowler less

Yeah, he's been pretty terrible of late.Felt McCullum messed up with his captaincy.
Not much of a surprise, they are from WA after all.jeez i have eaten marshmallows that were harder than the marsh boys.
Might be 3 marsh men facing the axe this summer.
Writing on the wall for Craig, he hasn't bowled yet while Santner has already bowled 6.
17 wickets in 4 sessions, any complains about the pitch?
Nothing wrong with the pitch. All types of bowlers are taking wickets.17 wickets in 4 sessions, any complains about the pitch?
Haven't watched the game much, but what do you guys think of the pink ball so far? Are the bowlers able to swing it? Does it get good movement? Does it last the full quota of overs, or do they replace it often?
It still looks like Pink Panther's testicle so I don't know what to think.

Lawlz. Oz cannot play (non) spin even in Oz.

Why are NZ playing 2 spinners?
This would have happened at the WACA too (maybe add an extra 100-150 runs for the easier batting conditions) if Australia had lost the toss. Far too reliant on Warner and Smith, if neither makes a hundred, the team won't get anywhere near a decent total. And if there's any sort of scoreboard pressure at all, forget it, they haven't got the mental fortitude to deal with that.
Also the tail is so weak without Johnson, it's made up of three number 11's in Lyon, Siddle and Hazlewood.

Because Adelaide turns a bit and Aussies can't play spin.
No chance. WACA was too flat.
We generally dominate spin in australia, we outplayed india on a turner last year at Adelaide it was the little bit of swing that got our top 6 this test.
Your opinion of Australian batsmen is too generous, they have zero mental strength. I don't care if they were batting in a ground the size of my 10 metre by 5 metre backyard, if a team scores 500, 600 in the first innings against Australia, they've got an innings win all sewed up.
Explaining the thinking behind it not what happened today.
Australia needs to try to bat time, not runs, so the Pink Ball is still shiny when it gets dark.
Im not really sure what you are trying to say?
Lol you are everywhere. This is a great stadium experience.
This year I've been to the Gabba Test (boring, too hard to get people out) and World Cup matches at Auckland, Sydney (2) and Melbourne (2).
The late start means it's not too hot, the pink ball has brilliant visibility and the grassy surface means a terrific balance between bat and ball so that every ball of every over is a tense spectacle.
I just love it. Keep T20, but what is the niche for ODIs now we have Night Tests.
Just brilliant!

I have no clue. Santner is an AR so that may be the cause and Neesham has been shocking so that helps. God I miss Scotty and Oram. Why are NZ playing 2 spinners?
