Warner and co. bat very well on these flat wickets with no grass. It was no different for NZ's attack last year in the first couple of Tests of that series, with Boult and Southee in their line-up, there was little in it for them. Australian bowlers like Hazelwood and Starc do a little better because of the extra bouncer they get, and of course overseas batsmen (SA aside), aren't so used to the bounce.

I don't think they've been too bad so far apart from Shah's first over.

And this is also bad news for us.

Why? Because PAK has taken NO wicket so far, even after the ball moving SO MUCH. If we don't get them out at least 2-3 by 30 or 40 overs, we're all set for a 500+ score.

There will be more movement in the third session and nothing suggests that the Aussies will keep batting as well as they have been.
