500+ now. Rauf selection has really cost us.

Draw is a must from here, pitch is great for batting and getting a draw here will give us confidence going into Sydney with a better bowling attack.
 
With Johnson coming in at number 9, on this pitch Pak might as well bowl Farhat for a while and wait for the declaration.
 
Razzaq is a man who should in the team in place of misbah or rauf. 4 bowlers on this sort of pitch is suicide, aus have 6.

isnt it interesting that if Dani was bowling most people who have been screaming about him not taking wickets yet every body is so cool about Ajmal hell he cant even get a tailender out

I've been saying this from the start that we should've gone in with 5 bowlers with Farhat as a part timer bowling as a 6th option.

Sami might've been an option if Gul was injured aswell and just drop Iqbal for that!
 
Farhat looks like a much better bowler than Rauf. Why is he only bowling 1 over spells ?

jus look for new young blood (anwar ali ehum ehum or someone else)
test team should be a rib breaking jaw breaking 95 + express with two good swing bowlers ( :asif in stock look for another ) n ( :ajmal d danny boy) ;-)

Yep, this was always going to be the danger with unleashing your secret weapon straight away (I would have kept Rauf up the sleeve for later tests), once they have picked up the 'mystery' balls that Abdur Rauf can come up with (like the 75mph dibbly dobbly whoop my a$$ ball) and can handle a master bowler like Rauf with such ease, it puts extra pressure on the rest of the bowling attack.

Must say that with how confidently the Aussies have batted against Rauf, they must have spent plenty of time in their preparations focusing on the bowling qualities of Rauf, with all the high-tech computer analysis done to understand the multi talented craftsman that is Abdur Rauf.

to be honest he is not a bad bowler i like his action he is just thinking to much as i can see he should forget every thing n try to bowl with in stumps
 
nice a couple of more maiden n then we can see them taking some risks n then some wickets

Ian Healy thinks it will be difficult to get Pakistan out twice on this pitch , i dont think he watches Pakistan cricket . :misbah

Wow Hauritz has so much time against Abdur Rauf....its unbelievable...its like watching Inzi he has so much time!!!

This is genius stuff from Pakistan, slow the run rate so much that Australia have to bat until day 4 before they're comfortable declaring.
 
Its demoralising watching Pak in ths inngs...

Katich & Clarke can also bowl.
 
looks like they will bat till first hour after tea, and let us bat the last hour...

and then suddenly ball will start moving and jumping around..
 
I heard a Rauf grunt there, that was the effort ball, at 132kph.

He's really bending his back now, another one at 131.5kph
 
I wonder why there is no reverse swing at all. Is it because pak bowlers in defensive mindset
 
We need to knock off the tail ender before Lunch. It's getting extremely embarrassing!!!
