3 bad inning's doesnt mean he can't bat.
3 bad inning in this series does count my friend. If he could take his catches may be we could forget his batting for a while. Don't try to defend him, he messed up big time by not talking that simple catch. Hope he makes up for it in the second inning with his bat. Drop catches could cost us this match too

So Australia are still 7 runs behind and with 7 wickets in hand and Top 3 Batter's back in hut and you still think its not 70-30 to Pakistan. I wonder who left school tad early

Time will tell..........

Cricinfo: A fine session for the visitors. Pakistan have checked Australia's comeback with three wickets this session; thus retaining the upper hand in this match. Nonetheless, Pakistan cannot afford to take their foot off the pedal. With 199 runs on the board, Australia are just about back to parity. If a big contribution is forthcoming from the middle and lower order, they may yet set a very competitive target.

Get it?

It's definitely not 70-30, Pak is only ahead slightly.

PP'ers shouldn't compare it to 1st innings where it was 30/3, that was a beauty of a pitch/conditions. And we took wickets consistently. It is 3x tougher to take wickets right now.

Exactly right, they have the best conditions available. If we were sensible we would still be batting today.

Hussey does not look at all confident against Kaneria.

Kaneria just needs to bowl a good line and length without giving a freebie.

Kaneria needs to be rested

On the contrary, if Kaneria has a good day, so will we. There is no way we can bowl Australia out without Dani boy.

What'd you guys think.
Australia's making nothing less than 250, it will be a good chase.
hopefully Pakistan won't collapse.... doubt it tho :(

I'm travelling in Asia at the moment. Back in Boston end of this week.
Cool...have a safe flight back to the land of the obese.

Apart from the Akmal drop, has there been any more drop catches.

Have Pakistan used up any referrals?

Get it what? my friend. So it is ok to drop sitters because cricinfo said it. Do you really trust your batting if the get the lead of 300. get real man. And please tone down your attitude.

@#$% it's getting cloudy. I hope these fools don't forget how to bat all of a sudden!!!

The strategy for Kaneria 1.0 is the faster he gets to 100 runs, the faster we get our wicket from him. He usually produces a wicket at the 100 mark :danish

Kaneria dropped Watson earlier in his innings. Turned out to be a crucial miss.

Why are you so worked up? I think you need some thandi shower with some lassi.

The match is balanced at the moment.

My money is still on Pak. Get the roos wrapped around 450...and it's chasable.

37 overs left in the day, I reckon Aussies will look to add 100-150 if they can keep the wickets.

why IS HE STILL BRINGING DANISH. WHATS HE DOING?

No choice. Sami has lost his sting. Gul must be tired. Asif is on the other end.

LOL at Bill Lawry "Kaneria's bowled most of the overs of the day and half of what he's bowled has been rubbish"

Its far from a batting deck.

Are we watching the same game? Our bowlers have had very little seam or swing, indeed if any at all. Wayward bowling on a pitch with true bounce. Now tell me that's not a batting deck.

The wicket spins, but Kaneria needs to concede a lot of runs before he takes a wicket, by that time it'll be a lost cause.

Doesn't matter how they come, there boundaries and currently Kanerias taking a lot of them but funny enough Yousuf doesn't see that.

Scores level.

Pakistan now have to take wickets as well as save runs.

Woohoo we're leading by 1. Now just need another 300

Same deck where Australia made 127 in the first inning.

Danish is trying to vary his deliveries every ball I think

Well pitch conditions have changed since then. Sun makes a lot of difference, it has dried up.

It was super green and lush on day 1.

However, there is still a lot left in it for the bowlers, watch day 4 and 5.

Why not try something else? Say SAMI ?
Yousuf has been very limited in using his bowlers.

Did you miss the part where he made 4 bowling changes in 4 overs and was rewarded with the wicket of Ponting?

Once Asif is tired, Sami might have a go here. He was slow and wayward in his last spell. Hope he does better later.
