Its been only 4 overs and people are already worried. Btw i have no faith on our bating either so count me in..lol :D

Aussie commentators are livid at the field placements...and bragging about how they're going to win this match.

I can't figure out which is getting to me worse, Yosuf's placements or their egos

Yousuf, please make some bowling changes.
You can't keep using the same bowlers when its not working
More then a bowling change he needs to bring his field up. Get a short leg and silly point to send a message to siddle esp.

If you don't believe in winning than you don't deserve winning. Bowlers have worked hard but captain and vice captain trying not to win the game.

He shuld beputting pressure on these batsman and getting them out. How would Pak chase with this attitude?

Just cause hes a tail ender doesn't mean hes going to start hammering the ball for sixes, he doesn't need too!

Good morning / afternoon / evening all....

Hmm.....

Not looking too tasty out there, is it? New ball and no attack, no attempts at a wicket...

Thank God the Aussies are equally lowkey...!

Ian Chapell in the commentary box is very much critical of the field placements of Yousuf, not attacking

Its like a script. Hussey blocks 4/5 deliveries and then gets a single. If there is any bad balls which will come soon believe me Hussey will open up.

For me, its the field placements and the whole attitude in particular!

There seems to be no buzz at all in the middle from the guys that they're in with a chance of winning a test match against Aus after 10 years!

Bowling changes?!

After 20 minutes? Smart move.

Which bowlers do they bring on? Farhat and Butt?

Ian must be pulling his hair right now. He can't get over with the field placing

Man you won't be that defensive if 2 batsmen were batting. This is ridiculous.

i think both teams dont know what to do next because they are both rarely in the position that they are ie. Aus on the brink of defeat and Pak on the brink of victory.......and chappel is getting on my nipples now

What I don't get is they came out with this plan right from the first ball, which means that the players and coaching staff have all discussed these field placings and think it's a good idea.

It's not like Yousuf panicked and changed to this tactics, the whole team has known about this overnight or at least from this morning.

Imran Sabir: "fielding shows the mind set of pakistanis. Really defensive and if they bat like this, 120 will be like 420"

Its easy picking here for Hussey as he's not played a single attacking shot since they've wallked out this morning as he doesn't need to with this sort of field placement!

Too quiet and flat out there......

Wake up boys, best chance to win in aus is here today.

I think Yousuf and Co. are scared of a big total therefore the defensive field placing however, they should realise that the longer the batsmen stay on the crease they'll score. Interesting nonetheless.

morning mositure, unset batsman, pressure to survive................But MoYo decides to go for ODI save run type fielding. Wow

This defensive field placement not very confidence inspiring for the batting to come.

Exactly my point too which have said on the other page!

What is Yousuf doing???? unbelievable field settings.

the normal bhai culture coming into play, as no one is questioning Yousuf's strange decision making.

Yousuf, that decision to go on defensive mode for 35 odd runs is going to cost you severely

lol at this...there is no killer instinct whatsoever in Yousuf

I was glad at close of play last night as pakistan were letting them off but it carried on from yesterday which is very surprising considering this could be biggest moment in these guys career.

Precisely.

This is a deliberate strategy, so the Brains Trust that is Waqar Younis and Aqib etc also agree and support this approach too.

Mayo never should have changed the ball.

Kaneria would have made short work of these tail enders

He had to go off the field

This is why we need YK

You also promoted Yousuf "from an idiot to a moron" after he kept bowling Kaneria yesterday. The same Kaneria who took 4 wickets remember?
