Momentum clearly with Australia now. Had we finished our innings well our bowlers would hv looked really different.
 
If we don't get wickets with this new ball, it's game over.
 
Feels like that has been the theme with Amir this year.

Bowling at good line, length and fooling the batsmen but no wicket to show for it. The poor luck will turn around and boy, watch out when it does.
 
Hafeez is missing the trick. Have a fielder on the midwicket and bowl spin. DOn't let Warner get loose.
 
And now this is the time you'd get the spinner on to change things up. Feel Hafeez really messed up with the bowling changes, the two pacers should have bowled first.
 
It really is incredible that amir is not getting the wickets to show for how well he is bowling.. getting pretty ridiculous now

his luck will change when he stops thinking he is hazelwood and bowls lengths you would see from Anderson or Steyn he is not a back of a length bowler who batsman will keep edging all day he need to target the stumps more.

the pitch doesn't look like a belter it seams. Some good support for fast bowlers.
 
Good stuff. Felt Warner was just trying to target Junaid thinking he was the weak link attacking him irrespective of merit and getting lucky. Junaid didn't bowl great throughout his over, but got to be a bit disheartening for Warner to be getting lucky like that and getting runs off him.
 
When you play these many shots, you INTEND to play a poor shot like this too. Epic Waqar younis commentary.

It was clear to see our batsmen were struggling on it to score at a high strike rate. Yes I know our batsmen aren't great, but I feel that's telling there is something for the bowlers on it.
 
Amir has to target the stumps and pads more his wicket count will increase by atleast 3 times he takes 2 mode of dismissals out of the game with his L&L
 
It sucks Amir hasn't had a wicket yet. Feel he's deserved at least one.
 
why is Khawaja complaining? he edged it straight up !! Amir strikes, game on! Need Smith NOW.

The ball that got UA out in the 46th over was a beauty. and it was 46th over!!

as I type Amir gets Khawaja with a beauty!

With how well Amir is bowling, I think they should just stick with him and let him get to 6-7 overs and see if another wicket can be picked up here.

Amir is a sub 28 averaging bowler in both formats only if he can back himself more and target the stumps more currently he is taking 2 major dismissal modes out of the game.

Unless we get 3/4 wickets within the first 15 overs including warner/smith then we in a good position to win. Even if Aus maintain a 6+ RR. 90/4 or better off 15 would do nicely

This was my prediction! we are well on course! another 1 or 2 before the 15th would be lovely!
 
Decent start for us. Was a little disappointed before, felt we were getting unlucky with some lucky runs for Aus and no wickets.

Yes keep him going i would! its worth trying for another wkt or 2!
 
so many of judging this pitch calling it a batting pitch !!! mind you their is some good pace and bounce in it josh has shown it its not easy to bat on

Those 2 spells in T20 Asia cup and World T20 were reminiscent of Amir we have all known post spot fixing saga. This spell is a special one too.

Ugh, a no ball instead. I will never understand bowlers pushing the line in LOI. In test, sure but with the free hit, you can't afford to do it.
 
Ahh . . its unfair to replace Wahab Riaz with someone who doesn't have the saem tendencies as Wahab Riaz !! :) Criminal!
 
Typical of Pakistan to make mistakes at a crucial stage of the game. Might cost them a game here. Michael Vaughan.
 
hopefully handscomb wastes a lot of balls then gets out for a low score
