Morgan is in terrible form.

Again, it's still a very manageable equation. But no chance with our half-baked attitude and poor form right now.

What poor form? It's Australia who is playing good cricket at the moment and who told Strauss to bowl first? It's not easy chasing under lights...

This is the fourth LOI out of four where our top six has shown a complete ineptitude and unwillingness.

Have to say, It's really impressive to see Bret Lee coming on to bowl consistently at 90 mph.

Excellent work from Bresnan...I'd say our best chance of winning is Tait proper bombing when he comes back on to bowl

Yes Lee and Akthar are real fastbowlers who have bowled fast over a decade!

England can't even score a run off Watson, let alone settle for milking his bowling. It's a common theme that is starting to depress me.

Doug the Rug has 3 left, Watson has 2, Lee has 1. 4 overs will have to be bowled by Clarke or Smith. We'll still lose...

Tait injured as well. Brilliant selection whoever chose this idiot who continually breaks down.

How on earth did they think he was going to last the whole world cup with a gruelling set of 50 over games when he can't last one T20? Hey, why don't we play him in the seven warm up games before the world cup and see what happens??

This series is going to end up as two second-string XIs going through the motions. Nine LOIs before the World Cup was always outrageous.

oooooooft! Jimmy Tredwell.

Is the game still on? I don't dare say it.

Hussey, Smith and Clarke. These are the options that make up the four overs. Hussey is on right now.

Aussies on course for a massive win, but then will they be happy? the guy who rescued them with the bat is not in the WC squad!

A totally abject batting performance, poor by any standards, and the Strauss captaincy wasn't much better. I'm not that bothered because it's a jamodi, but the attitudes out there were a joke.

Back to back wins for Australia.Has to say they have bowled pretty well this time.

Shahzad wanted to be the hero there? Cricinfo saying there was no run there.

England should have won this game with ease, to let them get 230 in 1st place was down to poor captaincy and poor bowling.

The run chase never got going either. Atleast england have 5 more odis in this series to change things, try things out and get better.

No use blaming Shahzad. We are in this position because the top six has batted like it has done, in four LOIs out of four. England have now lost a rare trio of games on the bounce. I hope they get an absolute rollicking tonight because this standard of application with the bat is nowhere near good enough.

England playing too many half baked cricketers. Better off playing specialists. But their batsmen seem to be careless. I think this is their best batting line up except Prior. Not entirely sold on Prior as a opener. Having said that if Swann had been playing AUS wouldn't have reached 230.

I never thought we had a chance without the bowling attack (Anderson, Broad and Swann), but it was the ridiculous ninth-wicket Australian partnership and the atrocious batting which cost us the game. 230 was hardly a difficult total, even with our tail-enders we had a chance. We're just really not good enough to beat Australia in LOIs in general at the moment.

Australia back to winning habits. Good to see. World Champions back in legendary form. hope they take this form to the world cup. Sad that England lost, but Marsh and Dougie destroyed England. Hope Collingwood comes back next match and replaces Treadwell

See Lee has been the lucky charm AUS have been missing. He's champ of a bowler in ODIs. 330 wickets in 190 matches at an average of 23. Beast :D

True. Collingwood should be asked to bowl more overs. He can't do worse than Tredwell. I've always felt Collingwood's bowling had been under used in ODIs by the current management. He could also shore up this really careless batting line up.

Has everyone forgotten that Collingwood has scored about 2 runs since October? Fickle game innit.

He's all ENG's got left in the current squad. You could only hope for the best.

Of course - but you said he could shore up the batting lineup. I doubt he will be capable of doing this. It will be interesting to see the England XI on Sunday, given the lack of form and fitness in the squad in general.

He may be out of touch, there are 5 odis left, no better way to get back in form before the world cup. In big occasions u can't leave out a match winner like Collingwood. He's better than Treadwell, Luke Wright and Yardy by miles.

LOL @ Botham and Nick Knight, they don't like the team for the WC very much

They wanted Samit Patel, Tremlett and Davies

Glory-hunters crawling out of the woodwork now Australia are finally winning this season, only took them a few months.

I was gunning for Australia from day 1 on this tour, don't post much that doesn't mean I am a glory hunter.

Congratulations Australia.

Commiserations England.
