Bangladeshi bowling attack is lead by the 3 Mohammads (Mohammad Shoriful Islam, Mohammad Mrittunjoy Chowdhury, and Mohammad Rishad Hossain).

Shoriful is a tall left arm quick who generates considerable bounce. Mrittunjoy is also a left armer pacer, who destroyed the Afghan U-17 batsmen a few months ago in a bilateral series in India. Rishad is a relative unknown, but as a leg spinner he could have the fastest and easiest path into the senior side.

Even over U-19 team batsmen are rubbish? Mohsin 11 of 31 and Ayub 19 of 53!!!!!!! These players don't have any future and shouldn't no where near to domestic system either.
 
These guys neither can rotate strike, play fast, run, field or bowl. Apart from 3-4 players whole team need to be disposed for good.

You are being too harsh on these kids

The problem isn't in them but it's in system
The system isn't equipped to produce many such players who can meet with the demand on modern day cricket

Rishad is very good bowler and recommended by bd spin coach shunil joshi as our next batch best spinner.
 
Bangladesh U-19s are 42/3 * (10.5/50 ov, target 188); Mohammad Hasnain, Muhammad Musa & Naseem Shah have taken 1 wicket apiece for Pakistan U-19s
 
Typical selection blunders by our so-called genius batsman in his time named Basit Ali who selected more fast bowlers for spinning track

Yet they are taking wickets. Pakistan fans need to stop blasting the bowling attack for the failures of the batsmen.
 
Bangladeshi boys 83/3 in 23 overs, good comeback by them after being 42-3. still anyones game.
 
Mrittunjoy is the next Mustafiz. Another left-arm seamer and what's more he's from the same town as The Fizz. Single-handedly destroyed the Afghanistan U-17 team last year.

Shoriful is another exciting talent. 6'4 and 17 years of age. He has already played for the Bangladesh A team and should be fast-tracked to the national side maybe even in time for the World Cup.

I expect Fizz, Shoriful and Mrittunjoy to form the Bangladesh pace attack of the future. Hopefully Taskin too can be be a part of it if he can sort out his issues.

U19 batting seems to be rubbish though.

Are you sure that's a good thing?

The only BD pacer that has impressed me personally, apart from Taskin, was the tall-ish right armer that opened the bowling during the recently concluded U-19 WC. Hit the deck hard and could push it up to 140 kph. Definetly someone BD should be looking to fast track.
 
Hopefully we will not make it to final and will get whitewashed by Australia so IK can kick out Basit and Inzi

Good to see Bangladesh U19s continue with the domination over Pakistan after Bangladesh kicked Pakistan out of the Asia Cup and Bangladesh U18 girls football team beat Pakistan 17 - 0 in SAFF U18 championship yesterday :))
 
Rohail has to be the worst captain ever he did not bowl out his two best bowlers infact only got them back when less then 10 runs were left.

At every level, what I see is PAK is becoming a glorious minnow basher. This kid Shah blew HK last time. I hope PAK boys prove me wrong against SRL U19 & there after in SF/F.

...., and PCB continuing their brilliant idea of making WK as Captain ..... it did work in 2006!!!

Do you think IK can fix this mess with improve our cricket infrastructure and put talented people in selectors' position?

SL U19 coached by vaas is very good team. The final could be between Ind U19 vs SL U19

You can't say that for sure because India is in a relatively easier group and hasn't been tested yet and even yet to play Afghanistan in it's group. one thing is sure we are going to the semi finals.

Do you think dravid makes blunder selections like pcb?
 
Not good results for PCT ,ll have to o.come back strong in the tournament.

There is a big difference between Dravid and Inzi. Dravid is a passionate honest selector where Inzi is a lazy, hypocrite and dishonest selector.
Dravid can pick almost 95% good squad where from same bunch Inzi can pick 25% good squad rest are his favorites or TTFs or no clues

Yes he has
Once he had chosen some Radhakrishnan guy for Eng tour who failed and now nowhere to be seen
Then he rested some key players for u-19 Asia cup
Result:Both BD & Nepal beat India to knock them out

He is not perfect to be honest
Even when he was captain/coach in IPL he made blunders
Even when he was the captain he backed some of his favs who didn't do well in the long run
 
If SL wins against Pak then SL and BD through if HK doesn't make any upset.
IND and AFG already in semi!!!

Just pointing it out to you that Rahul Dravid and this U 19 selection committee makes it a point to give somewhat talented youngsters on the brink of turning 19 a chance to play for the U 19s as they wouldnt be eligible thereafter and didnt play earlier. Prior to the last world cup, he made around 30 - 40 players play for the U 19. This was also stated by him, I remember reading this. So this will not be the final Indian team for the WC. There will be changes to atleast half the squad.
 
I dont follow u19 BD players but we badly need one uncapped bowler and one good opener for 2019 WC.

Shoriful and the two best leggi+offspinner (one is from spin hunt) could be your solution. They are really good. Saw them bowling. Very good.Others are hopeless.

Hello your last post got deleted. And unfortunately was not able to read it. I believe you replied to my post on U-19 PAK vs BD Match. Anyway the selection of U-19 is not good. I wish our selection would be better. Look at IND U19 they got Shaw, Gill, Nagarkoti, and others
 
You people!!!

Pak can still make it to the SEMI finals. All they have to do is beat SL. With a such a big RR margin (BD losing to SL badly) It is not that difficult. Three teams will have 4 points in BD beats HK. With SL and Pak Qualifying.

All they have to do is beat SL U-19.
 
BD u-19 has been strong over the years but like SA chokes in big stages

Yes we are the SA of the U-19 world
 
So many warning signs over our future, terrible performances by our U-19, A team and of course our senior national team while the rest of the world is progressing.
 
The U19 asia cup is not done yet. But where is the talent from pakistan? you guys should stop complaining about raw talent and focus on hardworking cricketers.
