More or less a satisfying tournament for us - wanted to see 4/5 players - Mosaddek, Zakir, Shoriful, Tanvir, Yasir has done well, Naeem should bowl well also. Should have won against UAE though.

Pakistan are already through to the next round. Don't see any harm in experimenting.

310 is actually per for NSK, unless PAK bolts it under pressure. So far, PAK E’s top 3 has done bulk of batting in this tournament which often is risky - if they loose couple of early wickets, untested middle order will be under pressure. Naeem & Tanvir should bowl well here.

309 is good score even if it is a batting track. I am not sure about our bowling resources though but juniors are carrying the momentum of seniors against Pakistan juniors .

Tough to tell without watching, but he did use irregular bowlers. However, apart from Ashiq, regular bowlers haven’t done much better either. I think, PAK has used a different formation in this tournament like ENG - batting depth & lots of “all-rounders”. It worked brilliantly against UAE & HK so far. Khusdil should get a call for SAF tour, if there is any meaning for this tournament.

Zeeshan Malik bowled 5 overs today . 8 bowlers were used today. Looks like Rizwan has an obsession with part time spinners. Still we are going to chase this easily.

One thing I have noticed- this is probably 10th or 12th game for Rizwan in PAK reserves’ color in a month and he hasn’t conceded a single bye (at least I can’t recall, may be 1-2 in odd games, but not in the FC game against Lions) in like 700 overs of keeping. Must be gathering well and he is batting well.

Who is above average against pace in PAK? You are opening with Imam in Test, while Asif Buttler in SAF club cricket scoring in single digits regularly in T20!!!! Selecting a mediocre player to replace mediocrity does not make sense. Khushdil can play ODIs in UAE but in SA it is better to replace Malik and Imam by Saud, Zeeshan or Farhan. As for Imad and Nawaz, their replacement should be Zafar or Irfan Khan.

Khushdil is just another bits and pieces player, similar to Nawaz who was also performing brilliantly for the A team before making his national debut.

Pretty poor from Rizwan. I understand Pakistan are through to the next round but they should still follow the game plan and not mess around too much. Talat has been smacked every game and he’s bowling at the death. If they really wanna experiment give the death overs to Musa, see how he reacts to bowling in the death overs.
