Bangladesh [330/6] beat South Africa [309/8] by 21 runs in the group stage of the 2019 World Cup

It's a wrong approach of not having slips and be defensive.

SA are batting too slow.... BD spinners will further squeeze. 75-25 to BD at this stage.

Lol at fans saying 80/20 to SA. You guys are trolling. Even if SA wins it won't be easy

percentage does not show easy or hard. it says which team is likely to win and its 80%..may be even 90% now towards SA with De kock settled

Will be a cakewalk for SA. Expect Kock and Faf to put up a very big partnership. They will be like 230/1 in 35 overs. Pin this post if you want.

The more likely you are to win, the more it is expected for you to win by a good margin. Commonsense.

exactly. I will be laughing so hard at these BD fans lol..SA have this in the bag. Max 45 overs they will need

Bangladeshi fans have every right to mock and criticize Pakistani fans. From 2016 to 2017, our fans made fun of them non-stop and made tall claims of how Pakistan will smash Bangladesh the next time they meet.

They brushed aside the 2015 whitewash because of Azhar’s captaincy, but then the two sides met in the 2018 Asia Cup with Pakistan led by the best captain since Imran Khan, and we saw what happened.

That defeat crushed our egos and was a very painful reality check, and some have continued to demean Bangladesh because it is their sad coping mechanism to deal with that well-deserved humiliation.

where is THIS match going in your opinion ? 48/0 in 9

We have already laughed hard on 31st May. This present match at least not that boring and one sided. Lol

This is poor by Mashrafe.

He needs to be bowling himself.

Two genuine edges carried to boundary.... on another day these would have gone to hand and SA would have been 2 down.

Ignore them mate, no need to kick a man when he's down.

The results are there for everyone to see.

Is Mashrafe playing as a specialist captain today? When does he plan to bowl?

Dropped catch and then a runout, poor cricket

Should bring Van Der Dussen out. He's good at rotating strike. Markham will find the boundaries. He's in great form today

Poor call from Markram, sold de kock down the river

They are creating so many run out of chances which kinda indicates SA is feeling the pressure. You wonder why people often use the C word with them. Out of nowhere they hand the initiate back to the opposition with these kind of things

Mashrafe is really good with field settings and bowlers rotation.

Looks like south africa will only win 3 matches.

Against pakistan , srilanka and afghanistan.

Brainfade by mushi nothing compared to brainfade by qdk. Sums up SA and their cricket. :(

Wow.where did that happen? He really looks awful.

He was 20 year old lad. Now he is older and matured.

Oh mind you he averages 30+ with the bat. He is arguably one of the most valuable cricketers for us in the days to come.

This Markram looks like a classy talent. A flair player. I think he is still a bit nervous. Once he gets to a landmark or something you could see him unfolding

Just had a look at the batting order and it does not look like a typical scary South African line-up at all. These two will be the key for SA. Bangladesh need to keep taking wickets here.

RRR has crossed 7 already. If BD bowlers and fielders maintain intensity it will soon touch uncomfortable.

People who do not know Bangladeshi bowling attack underestimate them often. I saw people from this forum called some of our bowlers as trundlers, one leg bowler and so on. However, the bowling of Bangladesh is pretty good. They can be deceptive. It's true that, they don't have express pace, but, if pace would have been the only success criterions for a bowler, SA wouldn't have conceded more than 300 in a back to back match.

Can't believe ABDV retired. They could have even gone to semis with him. They just have to beat 6 teams looking at the performance of Asian sides.

BD showing you dont need express pace to pressurize the batsmen, decent lines and bowling according to the field is enough

RRR getting out of reach.
It seems like it will be a tight end unless there are some immediate fireworks.

But if its a pressure situation,as it is likely, Bangla will get over the line.

SA Fans have to blame AB Devilliers for retiring just a year before the World Cup.
