Bangladesh v India | Match 40, World Cup | 2nd July, 2019 | Edgbaston | India innings

I think Bangladesh were desperately hoping to bat first.. their body language is looking bad from the outset

Looks like 290 is par score on this wicket but if india manages to get 330 it's all over for bangla bros

If someone prolly checked the stats rohit Sharma is possibly the luckiest batsman ever he’s probably been dropped more times than anyone else in the history of the game

Don't understand the hate for Rahul. Never believed he was the next big thing. But he'll come good soon.

Bangladesh were destroyed when Team India entered the hotel, I watched MS Dhoni the untold story. When Yuvi and Dhoni first crossed path after day 1, It was a cool Yuvi entrance and Dhoni got out in Day 2 and Yuvi batted for entire remaining days so he got selected for Under 19 over Msd, Also karthik got selected ahead of him

I was thinking the same, gets a life almost in every match

:4: by Rahul

I shudder to think what will happen to India when Australia/New Zealand/England finally catch that early chance fro Rohit in the knockouts

Man! These BD bowlers are bringing Rahul to form unnecessarily when whole of India is waiting for him to fail today.

Take that Rahul haters :4:

BD playing like this is a dead rubber and as if they're already out of the WC

U gotta be really bad to let a lokesh score against you but he will score 20 more max and get out

Itachi this was the intent India needed to show when chasing 330 lol

Rohit does not play cover drive so early.. he got his eye in... Beware Bangladesh.. get him or things will get ugly!

Only way Bangladesh was winning this was had they won the toss and batted first...

India are looking set for 350+ now

This Rahul takes like 10 to 20 additional seconds every delivery & the bowler has to always wait. He keeps scratching the pitch, taking guard, looking around the field, correcting his helmet & other guards! Thats the awful even for test matches! Umpires & Match Referees have to talk to him, because it is the opposition who is going to be penalized for slow over-rate! I don't think it will do any good to himself either, that's why the strike is not rotating enough & also he loses focus!

With more batting fire power, batsmen seem more relaxed and confident today. I will still pick kuli if the pitch isn't flat and has decent sized boundaries.

BD players' body language is not looking good. They look defeated already. Come on boys! It's not over yet. Get back into the game.

Tamim dropping the catch just reflected how the whole team looked. Never seen them so deflated from the beginning in a match vs India. Zero intensity.

Maybe, just maybe, there is a gulf of difference between the bowling of England and Bangladesh and the English bowlers know how to exploit these conditions much better?

And no scoreboard pressure.

This game has no importance for Pakistans semi final qualification scenario ,I don't care who will win.

If India plays like this throughout the match, more questions will be raised about the England game.. one will have to understand the difference in the quality of bowling attacks before doing that

1st time rahul is looking in good touch after that 100 vs ban on warm-up match

Yes, the first point. Nobody wants to acknowledge - including Nasser, Vaughan etc

This used pitch is spinning. Both the foolish team managements have dropped a spinner each on it

Lol no rohit didn’t hit a single six in the last game which was the first time he scored a ton without hitting a six btw England’s bowling is the least threatening they’ve conceded 300+ the probably as many time they’ve scored it as well

Lol, our idiots r again dropping catches?

Why don't they just come home and have plate of biriani?

Stop wasting our time.

As a viewer(myself), Rahul never inspires any sort of confidence even if stays at the crease for 10+ overs from the start.

Looks always struggling, nervous, and fidgety.

If Bangladesh want to limit India to less than 350, they should make sure KL Rahul stays till the end.
