Has Rohit 2 or 3 double hundreds? Seems like he can add one more to that today.

Oh please. People here were shouting from the rooftops to include him in place of poor Vijay Shankar and even claiming he is the next incarnation of Yuvraj.😂😂😂. He is only good enough to give Afridiesque 20-s and 30-s at this point.
 
Rohit looked uncomfortable in between. Might have a niggle should be rested against Sri Lanka now.
 
I cant see how Bangladesh can win it from here but stranger things have happened in the past.

Poor vijay? Even in in one game pant played better innings then shankar played in more than 3..and since they are not giving him the ball its irrelevant to consider his bowling.

And who says he will just make 20-30s ,so far he has only played one match...even dhoni an kohli were abused after first few matches they played ...whats pant in front of them?

Poor vijay? Even in in one game pant played better innings then shankar played in more than 3..and since they are not giving him the ball its irrelevant to consider his bowling.

And who says he will just make 20-30s ,so far he has only played one match...even dhoni an kohli were abused after first few matches they played ...whats pant in front of them?

Unfortunately, nobody really set the stage on fire the way Yuvraj Singh did during CT 2000.

However, I feel Iyer was hard done by. He looked the most solid among all batsmen at no 4. However, he was abysmal in the field in almost every game he played. Maybe that's what cost him his place.

Frankly, even Rayadu got hard done by. If Rayadu cannot even make into what has now become India's squad of 17 for the WC, then what was the point of playing him for a whole year?

Which of these are actually new players outside of maybe pandey and iyer both of whom were dropped on whimsy. They kept recycling old or tried and refused players hoping for magic rather than trying new guys who could actually do the job.

What exactly do you mean by even Aussie wickets? Those were flat pancakes. And he gave plenty of chances and lost his shape many times while playing those ugly leg-side hoicks. The difference was in Tests, they dont put much fielders on the boundaries like in ODIs.
And even then, how can that be the proof for his hype in ODIs which is a completely different format?

We don't require him to get anywhere near dhoni in odis,
We want him to become a great test wkbatsman, which dhoni wasn't.

Dhoni has 0 test centuries outside Asia.

At age 21, Pant already has one apiece in England and Australia.

As an IPL hater, surprised you care about T20 stats more than the purest form of the game.

It's like you lot with someone to replace malik, it doesn't make the player the next goat but rather shows how bad the player who is currently playing is, in this case it was our middle order's inability to attack outside of pandya.

Sharma is super fit. Almost everyone in the Indian squad is. That is a minimum requirement in Indian cricket nowadays.

This is his seventh game and I have watched all of that. He batted the same way in all of them. Going hard at the ball without no timing and even losing the bat in the process. Vijay atleast won us a game in Newzeland on a difficult pitch.

Simple question why did dhoni never score even a 50 on aussie pancakes of 2014.
We never had a good wk batsman in tests and even if pant continues to score only on flat track he will surpass everyone by a gargantuan margin.

Bd will regret there match against England. They should have go for the chase instead of saving NRR .

Seems like dead rubber is waiting for both pak and bd😭😥

What about Vijay Shankar's 2 important wickets against Pakistan in the same match? That was Vijay Shankar's first international match in England. Rishabh Gilchirst on the other hand played in England last year. You have a different set of rules for different players. You want to discard Vijay after 2-3 games without even giving him proper chances but you will give 100 matches to Pant and Pandya to cement their place in the side. :inti

Yeah he can. I'm assuming you're referring to Rohit who looked tired before he hit out.

But retiring can only happen if you get an injury or some other problem that convinces the umpires that he has to go off the field. Tiredness is not one :inzi

Did you even watch the series? You can Pant’s highlights (I have seen it live though) and observe all the things I have said. He is an IPL hack like KL Rahul and will be found out soon.
 
Scoring rate has gone down along with the run rate.

We are scoring less than 6 per over, now

His technique isn't great but I rarely saw him get beaten by a ball in the test series. Also if you think the wickets were so flat why did anyone outside of ChePu refuse to score runs?

No I’m referring to the dud that is lokesh rahul send in a pandya man I wanna see the ball get smashed out of the stadium on several occasions in one over and btw Sharma wasn’t tired he’s like this bowling is too crap it’s not even fun anymore I’m gonna let someone else have batting practice

I know what you meant. that Sharma isn't as fit as Kohli. Which I don't think is true. Yes, Kohli is leaner, probably runs quicker.

Sharma has a naturally healthy body type. But that doesn't mean he isn't fit and agile.

Watch him field during the second innings. You'll see how quick he is on the ground.

Chased 320 against not bad w.i attack .Should have a give a try to england attack who has tendency to smash around .Saving NRR Now seems illogical .

He isnt as fit as kohli,thats about it but he is living proof of how fitness is not sole standard of success in cricket ,something they need to take in acc before rejecting players after yoyo test
 
This guy rahul failed in almost all test matches in eng test series. when they thought of dropping him scored 149 vs eng in a dead rubber and then failed in Aus test series. Now scoring when mayank is in line. Hope he atleast use his chances.

Minimum chance for bd is limit india to 300 which seems impossible. This is do and die for bd so chasing above that will be too much

Exactly what happened with England yesterday. They slowed down at the same stage. Pitch is tricky at this stage I guess
