Pak 49/0 should be aiming for 115/0 at close and then just bat Bangladesh into submittion all day tomorrow and into day 3 as well.
 
lol, Taufeeq will not survive an over against Swann if he keeps bats like this against random, average Bangladeshi spinners. Way too nervy, and the pitch isn't even doing anything.
 
8th time these two have put up 50 for pakistan.
 
Taufeeq Umar always looks like the most nervous, edgy batsmen ever, and he still scores.. the second he gets some self confidence to try something risky, bam pack to the pavilion.

the opposite for Hafeez

Hmm, are we watching the same match ? He looks comfortable with spin so far. Sure he could pick uP more singles but has a decent technique against spin sort of like younis (bat in front of the pad) takes lbw element out.
 
Hafeez is such a good batsman to watch when he's on top of his game.

Taufeeq should be batting at a SR of at least 50 here...this is Bangladesh ffs!!!
 
After MoYo, Hfeez is the most attractive player to watch

then Umar Akmal
 
Taufeeq playing cut shot to much and with no sucsess, i can see him getting out to that shot!
 
Taufeeq is useless against spin , does not look like a man who has played a lot of cricket in pakistan :facepalm:

the worst thing would be for taufeeq to get a 50 and cement his spot for the england tour.....pathetic batsmen......should have been out 3 times.....is only scoring because it is bangladesh....he will not last this long vs england......clueless batsmen....is an opener and doesn't even know where his off stump is :facepalm:

Taufeeq is such a poor player. He is so lucky to still be out there. Can't he play an innings where he doesn't give chances to the bowlers. He has no clue against the spin in this over.
 
why is taufeeq opening the face to play a shot were there are two fielders waiting to catch the ball? :facepalm:
 
Backing Taufeeq to score a ton if he gets to 50. His conversion rate is excellent.

I dont understand why taufeeq never ever uses the sweep shot v the spinners or uses his feet? just pokes at the ball all the time.

Say what you want about Taufeeq. But the fact is he is still in.

Ugly and Effective > Beautiful and Ineffective.
