pakistan's scoring rate is terrible or maybe bangladesh have actually bowled well today
 
Azhar Ali is a solid bat, no doubt. But he is hell slow. Strike rate of 35 against BD. Has to be the most boring batsman on earth.

Azhar Ali 26 of 79 balls. SR: 32.19%

Azhar gone. Loose shot. Clearly not a minnow basher this guy. Failed against Zimbabwe as well.
 
if we cnt even make 300 runs in a day against Bangladesh then what the hell r we going to do against the No.1 Side!

We havnt even added 100 to the total so far in the day today. this is way too slow.

England are going to eat us alive bcoz they score 400+ consistently!!!
 
And there we go, after wasting 80 balls, he has thrown it away. Awesome display of selfish batting.
 
yesterday we scored 132 from 38 overs, today so far 88 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in 34.3 overs :facepalm:
 
now younis khan is going to slow things down even more, I feel for Hafeez he is going to get so frustrated and then Misbah and then Shafiq!!!

We r too defensive in tests, way too much, keep saying time and time again, we always fail to take advantage to go at a decent run rate, making all teams look far too superior and give them too much respect!
 
i guess we wnt b getting to 400 today then!

Its just plain pathetic how we cnt score 300 in 1 day!!!

agreed...unnecessary tuk tuk...it only leads to batsmen getting out without having scored much like Taufeeq n Azhar showed...
 
YK won't be as slow as Azhar. Azhar just does not know how to rotate strike.
 
What I fail to understand is we are in day 2, game is firmly in our hands, we know 150 is enough for us to win, lead is 86, Hafeez is well set to make a big century!

Only 2 wickets down, so why not go for the kill, up the tempo get the lead up as much by end of play today, kill it off tomorrow and put them in to bat!

Its simple, play risk free, even if we do collapse we will have enough runs on the board and with Misbah and Shafiq still to go, we wnt b collapsing, instead we will be defending to save our lives when its not needed.

They are just wasting over after over after over and the run rate aint goin nowhere, making Bangladesh look far too superior!
 
Carry on like this till lunch day 4. Get as much runs under our belt as possible, boost up averages and confidence. We will bowl out Bangladesh in 2 sessions.
 
I really don't get the comments about the scoring rate, It's only the second day for crying out loud. They can afford to play themselves in for as long as they want.
 
Bade hi nashukray log ho yaar. Taufeeq and Azhar had their first knock in the middle and there is plenty of time left. If you find it boring watch DVD of 2003 BD series at home.
 
Azhar Ali was trying to be aggressive still his S.R at the end was 32, lol.
 
Azhar Ali maybe a solid bat but there is no point being solid is ur not going to score.

New ball will help Pakistan, ball will come onto the bat nicer + Bang only have 2 seamers who are getting tired now.

How about opening with Shazaib and Imran Nazir and having Afridi somewhere in the middle?

Perfect example today.

19 runs for 46 balls which by his standards is fast!

He finished with 26 from 80 so thats just 7 added in 34 balls!

Crap really!
 
Look today is such a flat flat wicket. No pressure on Pakistanis and today Shafiq must score. He's had loads of test to prove his worth and so far I haven't been impressed by him. If he doesn't score today, Umar must be brought in for the England tour.
 
Hafeez has 4 test tons. 2 against Bangladesh. 1 against Zimbabwe. 1 against West Indies.

What do you guys think is the most possible outcome. A Hafeez double ton or a YK ton?
