CLT20 2012:9th Oct: Auckland Aces v Sialkot Stallions, UVA Next v Yorkshire

condition is more favorable to NZ team than us. so I kind of expected this. hope BCCI invite us when they play clt20 in india. thats when we would see the real quality of SS.
 
Indians have no right to brag, your teams are not made up of all Indian players. If they were they'd be no better than Sialkot.

if they play without any imports, their team would have been allout for 100 and opponent score those runs in 5 over against their trundlers.
 
Looks like Abdul Rehman done SS over... Malik saying in presentation that they were one bowler shot... he thinks he could have defended the total..

Yeah that one bowler was HIM! Can't believe he said that. Pathetic for him to not bowl even one over.

thats not a bad excuse, rehman is a great bowler. NZ batsmen would have struggled against him. look how they struggled against raza.

But to be honest :butt, it's club cricket.. and when I mock SS, I do it as a Delhi Daredevil fan. Nothing to do with Indian or Pakistani cricketers.
 
This format is worse then the group stages in the world T20

1 loss and your out more or less, unless both the other teams lose 1 win 1, it comes down to NRR, only one team goes through
 
I request Pak posters to not generalize all the Indian posters as Trolls. If you still have doubt read posts by Indian posters just till 40 minutes back in this very thread. I assure you won't find any condescending posts or belittling posts from any of us. Rather you would be reading posts appreciative and supportive of Sialkot and its players.

I do agree there are few posters from both sides of the borders indulge in some form of trolling in most of the threads here in PP but that doesn't mean that you start generalizing all the posters as same.

Hope you lot understand this before making any sweeping statement.

Well imports are legal. No one stopped SS from buying imports if they can afford it...But hey wait I thought you said SS is best club in world ..why would you be complaining of imports
 
This was bound to happen... Pakistani players are no good on bouncy pitches. All that domestic bullying is not gonna help here in South Africa until unless they up their game big time.

Nazir was doing his chicken dance even in SL few days ago. Today, they were hardly taking any singles. Pakistan international team was slightly better in that but I can see the trend.

Not a good show from the Stallions. Now we must hope that Hampshire beat Auckland, and Stallions beat Hampshire. And then we can go theough on NRR.
 
many great Pakistani teams have struggled on those bouncy tracks of SA, no surprises there. You know you're in trouble when your best batsman is Shoaib Malik :)

I never said they were the best club in the world. What are you talking about? I said they had a good shot at qualifying for group stages, that's about it.

All I'm saying is that if the Indian teams were made up of players from specific regions, the way Pakistani teams are, then they'd be no better than any Pakistani team.

But you guys can go ahead and gloat, at least we got further than you in the World Cup ;P

Going further is no use if you cant win it. World always remembers who won the cup...not who were last 4 or last 6. All others including runners up are second/last.
Anyway ask yourself....Would you remmber the result on India - Pak encounter in worldcup or would you remember reaching SF. No need to answer just ask yourself and if you feel genuinely happy with your answer ...cheers
