Congrats to Tendulkar. A great achievement, but honestly to the 1bn Indians it wouldn't have made any difference to anyone whether he had scored 99 or 100 hundreds. His record and reputation still stands.

THIS. Honestly for us it wouldnt matter much if he finished on 99 or 100 hundreds. But what I wanted to see is a free flowing Tendulkar playing without any burden.

He was carrying this guerilla on his back for a long time and it is a huge relief to see it off. Hope he scores freely against Pakistan taking us to the finals and hopefully win it .

Thanks for all the hardwork you have put for our country and team Sachin. We salute you and your achievements.
 
Does this mean he will retire now at the end of the Asia cup from ODIs?

He has scored 100 against every country in all countries and you think its not possible for him to score a 100.The fact that he can score a hundred even when he is not at his best shows his temperament and hunger.India will score enough runs and win easily.Do you actually understand the meaning of 100 100s by a single human being.Your entire team put together does not have that many.Off course he has right to be a bit selfish for such a record against a easier opposition.
