Congratulations Sachin Tendulkar on hundred 100s! [Finally!]

I think SRT's luck changed once he straightened his hair. Doesn’t suit him to be honest.
 
He should retire from ODIs now, unless he is chasing some other record.

He can probably still play Tests for another 2 years or so.

A deliberate selfish hundred. One that is done with the permission of team management or even at their order i guess. Dhoni may well have told SRT to go slow and ensure his 100 in this useless Asia Cup. SRT wouldn't play a knock like this against Australia or Pakistan in a big game.
I think this was set-up and thats why they selected him for Asia Cup while resting a fitter Sehwag.

Dhoni must be fed up of carrying the additional baggage of Tendulkar in the team for the sake of a 100th 100.

Lets see how Tendulkar bats from now on!!
 
Well he is always a nervous 90's player ... now that he is pressure less .. I think he is going to be back to the old Sachin we know... unless he falls for the pressure of completing 20K OD runs tally....

Yes Azhar and Jadeja were banned for life which is very rare in Pakistan cricket.

That was 10-12 yrs back.I dont think after that any Indian player was reported of even having a remote involvement in match fixing.
But the Pakistan cricket team is neck deep in cheating,match fixing and other malicious activities like drugs even today.
 
real happy to finally see him score a 100. its weird to watch cricket without knowing there will not be a dravid special around the corner. will be weirder with greats like sachin and vvs gone.

I think its for ICC to decide what ban to accord.

Not Indian Cricket Board.

They decided to give those bans. Its not like Amir and Asif are playing.

As for cheating and match fixing , no one really condones it. No one supports our players cuz they cheated.

And 10 years ago , or today .. Once a cheat, always a cheat. Time doesnt matter.

kohli, tendulkar are not the only ones. even umar akmal. after yesterday's really good performance, how many haters really came and said well done? then again if he fails, they will be ready to kick the dog when its down.

People might have different opinions about the time taken and how it wasnt arriving.. but i dont think anybody is in a position to judge what he felt like.
Till another person nears that milestone to any degree.. there can be hundreds of people having multiple opinions.

Congrats to the Master, a achievement which will stand for decades if not centuries, no need to get into useless banter, today is the day to celebrate this great man achievement for India and most importantly we can all learn a bit of humility from the great man himself.

well congrats to Sachin but three points stand out in this 'achievement':

1. He did it against Bangladesh of all the teams
2. He took sooo long to do it
3. India may lose as Sachin has scored a 100 (we will have to wait and see though)

He's finally been put out of his misery, congrats to him, Media and fans gave him a hard time but now he has completed the milestone, he can now retire in peace.

That is true. We Indians have enormous love and respect for Imran and Wasim as well. It's the good behaviour that is appreciated in the end. These guys are above stats.

Pak players were just thinking about batting not milestones or records. :)))

Sachin put in extra practice in the nets knowing this is the best chance he's had for a long time to get another record. :)

As I said congratulations but if only he could have done it against England or Australia in a test match it would have been a meaningful contribution.

You do know Baba Baba Sher scored 124 off 60 deliveries against BD less than a year ago? This means that if he faced the same number of deliveries as Sir Bhagwan ji here he would've scored nearly 275 runs.
