Dont remember last time I have seen an opening spell form a pacer with so many 150+ deliveries. It might have been Akhtar or Lee before this.
Starc bowled at 150kph in the last match.

I would be glad if Pakistan can snatch him. Class bowler.
Targeting respectable defeat.
Rubel is a must on belters like this. Fizz is struggling

Fizz was really good against SA and was decent against NZ as well, today his figures arent that good but then Eng batting lineup is also unbelievably strong. Fizz to me is looking really good, his pace is back in the late 130s early 140s and that makes his cutters even more effective. Any bowler can have an off day, while Saifuddin has been bowling decently too I think him and Mortaza dont offer much different to each other. It would be a tough call and harsh on Saif but I think Rubel should be brought back in for the next match as he will give more variety to the attack.
Not every other ball. This spell has been rapid all the way through.
I love what New Zealand has done for their team. They hired Shane Bond. They could have just gone with Craig McMillain, their current batting coach as bowling coach, who also used to bowl slow medium pace bowling. But they wanted their A game for their bowling and they got it. Before that, they had bowlers like kyle mills, who were just average. Now, their bowlers are pretty lethal with new ball.
Liton Das only BD opener I’ve noticed goes like how Sanath, Used to go against Pace. Hard and over! He knows there’s pace to work with a good connection
Waqar was a really good bowling coach, I think him, Shoaib or Bond can be really good. Even Mohammad Akram was miles better than what Azhar has done to the development of these bowlers. Mohammad Akram is one of the reason Hasan looks so good in PSL.
Never rated Tamim in ODIs - very selfish batsman. Yet some think he would walk into Pakistan's team.
I would take "hack" Fakhar any day of the week over him.
Would like to echo this once again.
Ball from Archer to Sarkar had so much velocity that after hitting the stumps ball went straight over the boundary. Have never seen anything like that.
"hack" Fakhar would never play a selfish innings of 19(29) when chasing 380 odd, plus he wouldn't be cowering against express pace. So "hack" Fakhar any day of the week against ATG Tamim.
If hasnain gets a game i expect him to hit 95 mph.
To be honest, its not the worlds biggest ground.

50m is quite a lot for a ball to travel without bouncing
Next match tamim and Mithun out Liton and Rubel in
6 50s in the last 7. So that means 5in a row?
Really dont understand wat bangla r doing here. With RR climbing to over 9 an over. You rather go for it than playing out over for singles
Brilliant analysis again by Nasser Hussain. Since Wood has release points away from stumps, he doesn't get much lbws and often pitches the ball outside which hits pads, as opposed to archer. Which also affects his effectiveness as wicket taker. A very close resemblance to what the issue with Amir. His release points. He bowls too leg sidish because he has been releasing away from stumps. yellow is archer, red is wood

What a beautiful straight drive by Shakib Al Awesome
Runrate have reached 10 a over .when those 2 guys meet at crease it was in mid 8 rpo
Selfish batting from both players

What's the aim, are they trying to play out overs?
