The difference in the bowling attacks is night and day. When Bhumrah, Siraj, Akashdeep get wickets, they pick up 2-3 wickets rapidly wheras England is literally conceding 70-80 runs per wicket.

England is going to miss him in 4th innings not because he is effective but due to work load of Pacers. :kp

Keep the eng bowlers on the field until the roll over and dies.

Stokes is struggling, archer has not stamina. bashir is out. grind them to dust and eat them alive in test 4 and 5.
 
204 overs bowled so far while 240 should have been. .Means more than a session of this test lost to delays even without any rain :kp

Yesterday saw a graphic saying avg runs for wicket up to 20 overs is 23/24. between 20 to 80 its as high as 86.duke ball seems to be the culprit.eng seamers are not good at exploiting new ball too.
 
Good to see Jadeja being so consistent... If he bats like this (that too overseas) he can be relied upon as a pure batsman (and his bowling will be bonus). That way he earns better spot in the team!

He is playing as a batting all rounder .
 
Joe has to contribute with the ball here. His efforts with the bat were cancelled out by KL of all people.

Needs to show that difference in class if he has to compete with our midget genius

He is often criticized as ineffective overseas bowler! But if he is in the team on the batting merit, then his bowling will be more than enough... In this way he earns his spot in the team in a better way!

Babar Azam and Mohd Rizwan would have scored a lot of runs on these pitches. They have the temperament for it
 
It’s gotten slightly cooler out here at the Lords. Been a great day of cricket. Match is well balanced imo.
 
Unless a collapse occurs we are headed to a draw. Day 3 is almost over and india still has to generate a lead.

there will be a result
if india can bat more and grind them out and just tire them for another 25 30 overs and say take a 100 lead then yea it would be good

get them in to bat second session onwards tomorrow. try to get them all out for under 250

one day to chase
 
The amount of overs lost over 3 days with 32-33 degrees weather everyday is ridiculous.

I said it on Day 2 as well why can't they start 30 mins before and make up time for overs lost per day. Start at 10:30 instead of 11.

I'd only take Jamie Smith from the English setup in our XI in these conditions.

Gill and Pant are better than Joe and Brook at 4-5. And Jadeja is miles ahead of Stokes

Seems like the Pakistan think tank has been making the decisions for England in this series.

It's clear that England has a toothless bowling attack and that their batting is their superior trait. Surely you'd make green pitches to help your weaker bowlers get assistance and bank on your better batters to navigate those pitches.

However, they have gone on to make pitches that rival Pindi allowing India to score 400+ at will every time. Diabolical decision making by Stokes/McCullum.

They will increase the Play time only if England is winning position at that moment like 1st test to complete the full overs :kp

Bumrah and Siraj will eat them alive on green pitches. Flat tracks is their best shot.
 
Watch Bhumrah, Siraj, Akashdeep take the pitch completely out of the equation when India bowls. England's bowling attacks sucks

When they face weaker teams these pitches will work much better for them.

no fun watching cricket on such pitches ...I use to think PCB was the worst board when it came to pitches , seems the have competition from ECB !

Pakistan wont be able to overcome England in England until they get rid of Shan Masood and improve their batting.

These pitches are roads and they can overcome england bowling attack. Problem is Pakistan's bowling is rubbish.

England will putbat Pakistan 10 out of 10 times. India on the other hand is = to England batting wise and their bowling is better.

Ik I have trolled Indians cause some chawal indian posters deserve a lesson in manners, However If england keeps curating these pitches, India have a slight advantage.

I think England will win the next one though, Indian bowling attack won't fluke it 2x without Bumrah. They had one golden test thats all.

The ones with Bumrah will be difficult though 100%. India has an advantage.

True but the weather of England makes it better than watching paint dry in Pakistan.
 
Honestly I have been dissapointed by this test series. Idc about tue result, but these pitches are dreadful.

They are worse then Pakistan pitches. They have curated bloody roads.
